I find the briefings extremely funny in that sense that they feel like recruiting propaganda where everything is presented better than the reality is. Oh boy will they be surprised when they find out it all went fubar. I'm snickering every time I watch the briefings xD

I love Angry Joe. He may not be the most informed, but at least he makes you laugh.

Same here. We don't really know a whole lot about the plot details, but we can already check at least five of these boxes.

For me its been when every bit of information Bioware has released about the story and back story has been met with a chrous of "It breaks the lore" that and the sheer amount of armchair quarterbacking from some people has been staggering.

It wouldn't work as sarcasm. Sarcasm would have to be something like this:

"The mass effect games are some of the best games of all time. Andromeda will be equally great because Bioware makes amazing games and hires competent game makers. The people who wrote mass effect really know exactly how to write an amazing story, especially when it comes to the ending. Mass effect 3 has an amazing ending and our choices in the game have a huge impact on the ending, especially the rachni choice, which really had a huge impact on the ending as you could see the rachni troops fighting on your side against the reapers. There are no plot holes in mass effect. The introduction of a brand new character in the last 5 minutes was a fantastic move and really made the ending amazing. Mass effect 2 made sense. The crucible was a logical plot device. The impact of the destruction of the mass relays at the end of mass effect 3 was the same as the effect of the destruction of the batarian mass relay in Arrival, because the plot of mass effect is consistent and doesn't contradict itself, because the writers are competent and non-retarded."
