I've made two different Ryders using preset 9 as a base and despite the fact that I made them to have different features, they both ended up looking the same. Is that a "limited character creator thing" or a preset 9 thing?

Its possible. Ryder Sr in my playthrough looks about the same complexion and his eyes have the exact same color combo. Its possible I just got lucky but that would be a heck of a coincidence. I'm actually happy with how he turned out.

Finally found a look that I am very happy with, although I wish that I could make her skin tone lighter.

I still really hate the cc but I did end up making a ryder I was mostly happy with. He's not what I planned him to look like but I think he looks pretty good. Im obviously still really early in the story but this is what I have so far. Still wish I could make his jawline sharper among other things but I did the best I could with limited resources. Hopefully if or when the cc patch comes out I can really make him look how I want.

Also thanks to the person who said to use the face skull tattoo to lighten the skin. It does work on female faces too somewhat. Can look like bad foundation in some lighting but I'll take it.

There are some really cool looking Ryders in this thread. I may just have to fool around with the CC some and see if I can come up with something as I was going to go with the defaults and be done with it.

My only grip is you can't pick infiltrator as a training background for a custom Ryder the closest you can get is operative ::grumble grumble::

I have to thank fialka , I've been having trouble making a decent femRyder all day then I saw her pics...just copied them best I could and I finally have a face that looks right. Huzzah! ^_^

The hair looks janky but that's because I'm still trying to find the best settings vs the lag. It's taking a while. :banghead:

EDIT - Photobucket won't let you post images on third party sites anymore, and I've deleted this shot so I can't re-upload it. It was fabulous, obviously.

How do you good folks take screenshots? I tried PrintScreen, F11 and F12 so far, and no dice :( And, i am totally in love with my Ryder so far heh. She is the most awesome looking character I've ever had. Happy.
