Wow one of the best Male Ryder's I have seen. 

Yeah that hairstyle, I really like it but have changed after EOS when I use it as it just doesn't work for me in some scenes as it made the character look bald or just not right. Like the short one where the hair is sticking up at front, looks good front on but from the side and the way it moves just looks strange.

I love this hairstyle for male Ryders but I agree. Sometimes it makes him to look bald

I've just been thinking... i never posted my Alec Ryder photos. Yeah, i know his face can't be far different than what you guys have, but i just want to share them anyway.

I just can't believe how the hell he looks so weird while her daughter looks normal and beautiful.

topgun30 She just lucked out in the genepool mixing and got her facial shape from her mother and the colors from her father.  Pretty literally in this case, since I think Ellen is based of preset 5 and if I'm not mistaken, your Sara is too. 
But yeah, Male Ryder 5 preset can look pretty interesting at times. But we can't all be models all the time.

Yeah, i got it now. It seems Ellen Ryder have the same face no matter what face preset our Ryder uses... while Alec can have different faces but don't actually match our Ryder.

So i think the conclusion here... is that Scott and Sara are adopted. lol

Well, i guess it's the pale skin and blue eyes that makes my Alec look so weird and alien-y. It's like he's black but he wears make up and eye-contacts to look like a caucasian... or should i say... a black guy cosplaying as a white guy, but failed. So he turns out looking weird. lol

You add @ in front of the user name to tag them You might also need to hover over the username to get the proper one because of people like me who have a different display name.

When you pick a preset, then Alex will always have the facial structure of the Scott with the same numbered preset. So you pick number 6 preset for Sara, then Alec will have the same face as Scott Preset nr 6. (Exception is preset 9, they will get the Preset 3 dad.) 
Also Alec will always have Ryders eye color and "match" them in their complexion. I think the complexion works same as the face. So you have Preset 3 Sara with the same complexion as Preset 6, then Alec will have the same complexion as Preset 6 Scott (with some edits to make him look older), but the facial structure of Preset 3. 
So you can always take a sneak peak at how Alec will sort of look like. 

And then the default Alec face shape is also an option.
So there is some "hereditary" stuff, but the adoption theory also works. Especially of the other sibling, since I don't think the game takes any note from them. So you could have a pitch dark Sara and Alec and a pale as snow Scott with red hair and freckles. (Or wise versa).
