Share your Ryders (Good looking edition)

My Ellen always looks like that but I also always use default Scott. He's a bit better looking than CC content and his default look goes better with her personality. (When people make him look older and gruffer it just isn't a match.)

The clipping eyelids are a result of the animations not accounting for Asian anatomy. It really is annoying.

Hey whats sup guys, I know I'm kinda late but I just recently bought this game for ten bucks! a really good deal!  and I was looking at all these creations and it got me so hyped on creating my own. so heres some screenshots of my first attempt on creating a beautiful Sara Ryder. No mods, I'm playing on ps4. Hope you guys like her!

 

Picking this game up again after a long hiatus. My latest Sara:

To sum it up using familiar terms, I just recently realized my Custom Ryder is quite similar to Jack, except tanned... And with actual hair... And a better attitude... And, er, lacking biotics... But I can't complain.

Technically they're not supposed to. Whichever you choose is thrust into that position due to special circumstances (as you now know) rather than, say, being a grizzled veteran moving on up in the galaxy-saving department, such as Shepherd (or even Alex Ryder). They were already mid/high ranking N7's. Both mini-Ryders had... Less bad-ass roles before the unexpected promotion. Think of it as you being in control of making them the 'hero' you expect them to be, rather than them starting out as that hero-type. I find it annoying if a game tries to sell you on a 'path to greatness' story and gives you characters that already fit the bill, even if just aesthetically.

As a Sara Ryder player myself, I do greatly prefer her over Scott, but I don't see either as unheroic, just... Young and unprepared. The look doesn't change later, but their preparedness and badassery does, so go with whichever suits you and stick with it. You can always customize to give them the edge you like. I like default Ryder in both cases (Sara mostly - the unpopular choice, surprisingly), but I've fallen for my custom version. She's also young looking (suits the VA) but you don't doubt she can throw on a space-suit and go kick some ass.
