As for Character creation tips it largely depends on what you consider attractive really but for games like Mass Effect and Dragon Age and creating my heroes I've mostly taken cues from various TV shows like Buffy, Charmed perhaps Star Trek that sort of thing generally younger looking characters that look fit and look like they could fill a role like that we see in the game. In fact the last Inqusitor I made for DAI for example was based off a model I've seen on the internet. Worked quite well actually.
