Tried new season with changes, still about as bad as it was before. Community just won't change, lot of selfish assholes all over the place, the system is bit odd too. I ended up having Diamond range and GM range players in same matches with me outside of placement matches as well. Ended up placing 200+ higher than my last season's end and gained new career high of 3854 or something. I don't know by what logic, I played worse than I did last season due to a month long break.
Played for bit over a day and uninstalled the game again. It just doesn't seem to be getting better, if I wasn't interested in the skins, I'd not be playing at all. Just overall frustrating experience for competitive minded player, I've found. The changes are coming bit too late anyway, people have already gotten to a point in competitive, that they are hostile by default.

Well, thank you Blizzard for ignoring absolutely everything we said about Mercy. For those of you who don't know, these are some of her nerfs:
- Valkyrie duration lowered from 20 seconds to 15
- No extra rez for Valkyrie
- No instant rez in Valkyrie
- Slower movement and GA in Valkyrie
This means you are stuck with a rez you get every 30 seconds (no matter how well/bad you played) with a cast and slow that feels awful to do and annoying to play against. People will still complain about Valkyrie being too long and Mercy being too hard to kill (despite the nerfs to her speed). I think they just want rez phased out completely at this point. What they needed to do was half the duration of Valkyrie, remove rez as an ability, give her something new, and let her have two rez-charges in Valkyrie instead.
I've barely played her these past two months, now I'm ditching her for good. They obviously want her to be what the community has always called her - a no-aim-no-brain heal-bot.

For now I'm ok with those changes. Although with Mercy I would have left the extra rez if it is not going to be instantaneous anymore but I think she is still going to be good.

Reddit as a whole is kind of meh, I don't really go to any of them anymore. I tend to stick to discord communities. When I linked that there were no official patch notes, and it was the only place I found that was aggregating what people were finding out. |

Hahahaha I just had a game where this Hanzo annoyed me to no end, scattered my mech all the time so I would go from almost full health to being ejected, so I was feeling a bit... vengeful. I didn't just want to kill him, I wanted him humiliated, and well... this happened...  If you're not sure what I'm talking about, look at the "final blow"... getting PotG for it made it all the more sweet! Also, I love purple so I'm very happy with this skin or D.VA  |

You can get another skin signing up here . I haven't decided which to get yet, I want to get a Fuel skin cause they're team I support, but their colour scheme is pretty bland. And the more I see Spitfire and Fusion' skins, the more I like them. GLAdiator skins look nice as well. |

I seem to have developed some kind of hate for McCree lately judging by these clips: Yes, that was very much a spite-ultimate - earlier in the game he ulted me as I was thrown out of my mech. I wanted payback. Too bad Mercy rezzed him, but don't you worry, we got him again soon after. This one just... happened. I wanted to smack him to death, accidentally broke the railing, which caused him to fall down. Either way it was hilarious, and the fact that I got PotG for it made it even funnier! I have to admit, it feels good to start maining D.VA again.  |

Sorry for double posting, but someone said on the forums that Michael Chu had said to watch the Recall short to get any hints about hero 27. I re-watched it and noticed this face reflected in Winston's glasses as he was watching the profiles of everyone who got the calling.  Could he be the next hero? I don't think he looks like anyone we know, and he's obviously affiliated to Overwatch somehow. Edit* in fact, there are so many characters shown there that it's hard to tell which one it will be, but it's got to be one of those on the screen. Maybe an omnic tank? |

And yeah, looking forward to D.VA's skin too. I've really enjoyed rediscovering her, and although I haven't really developed my sense of how the current iteration is supposed to be played I feel that I'm making my way there. |
