Overwatch

Moira's healing isn't what's broken. But imo, she is broken. Why does a healer/support do that much damage to where she can 1v1 dps and even win without a significant effort and have an ult that has massive damage? That's not what a support should do.

So the fact they nerfed her healing doesn't bother me at all. Not what I would have nerfed, but at least it's something.

Again, I'm a noob so, that's just my feelings on it.

And another thing I really hate is Mouse and Keyboard - I just faced a Widow in arcade that killed us all alone, turned out that person had similar stats to what the absolute top players on PC has. You just don't achieve those kind of flick shots without the aide of a mouse, and coupled with the aim assist it's just pure cheating to have those.

Blizzard should either let those people play against PC players without aim assist or just ban them altogether.

It was No Limits, there were 4 of them and at least one very obvious M+KB user... it took my team until the very end to switch to monkey, but only two because the others insisted that their Widow was better and Reaper was an excellent counter... I would have switched myself but again I was the only healer... *facepalm*

Not just any console player but the best console Reinhardt in the Oceania region, get at me scrub. /s

Well I play on PC so... I can't lol

Man, I really don't know what to do lol. This game is pretty addicting so, I don't wanna have to stop playing, but at this point, it's looking like I'm going to have to. I'm just so sick of losing literally every competitive match!

I don't feel like I'm THAT horrible that I'm the one causing the loss EVERY game. And at this point, I feel like surely it's time for the luck of the teammates to start rolling my way, but it hasn't happened. I'm always stuck with people who just pick dps and do whatever, especially now that I'm in super low ranks. For example, two games in a row last night, I had gold damage, elims, objective time as... Reinhardt and D.Va. COME ON! These people can't even push the payload to the first checkpoint. RIP

Now, I'm sure some of the losses were my fault as I'm new and I guarantee there are times I don't know what my positioning should be, or I waste an ult, but I feel I'm at least an average player. Yet I still lose so often, it's so frustrating!!

I have a feeling it's because I'm solo queue-ing. So, I guess I need to find a team of people to play with? (But you can only play on teams with people around your rank meaning, I'd have to be able to field a team of competent players in silver... ugh) I placed at 2536 after my 10 placement matches. Yet, I've dropped all the way to the 1500s since then. No matter how good of a match I have, I just lose.

Sorry for the rant, I needed to vent somewhere and the overwatch forums are toxic af, so... pass. lol

I'll check it out, but I really think it's more my teammates than it is me.

I don't think the roles are really that hard, like:

Tank: block damage, hold/push objective, create space. If D.Va, boost at pharahs.
Support: heal your teammates, stay in back line, watch for flankers.
DPS: focus enemy healers/dps, watch for flankers, shoot at pharah (lol).
Defensive: Don't pick unless you're godly with widow.

It takes practice to really get to know the characters. You also will have to accept the fact that they’ll eventually get nerfed or reworked so you’ll need to learn how to adjust. I would have to say the greatest skill you can attain in Overwatch is not mechanical aim or game sense is the ability to adapt to a certain meta or character etc.

Main tank, once you learn the role better, is actually surprisingly easy to climb as since there's hardly any people who play the role and even fewer still who are actually good at it at every rank.
One of the things you learn after a while is how to spot a tank who's just filling and how you can make said player your bitch.
There are few things Rein mains like more than coming across a DPS or Support main playing Reinhardt against us because it means an easy game.

The tradeoff is that it's probably the most frustrating role in the game because it requires a lot of healing and for your team to follow up.

Welp, considering I just saw this after last night's run of comp matches... it seems I went directly against your advice! haha I got my rating up 59 points, but I'm not sure how much of that was me. I just didn't seem to have as shitty of teammates as I usually do.

Soldier is my second most used hero, but I'm trying to get away from him because I can't seem to finish people off completely with him before I reload, which loses the kill and they get away. Probably because I'm not getting headshots, which is why I used the hero mentioned below. 

I used, D.Va, Rein, McCree, and Ana/Zen if I had to heal. 

I actually did pretty good as McCree and even had a 4 or 5 kill HIGH NOON! that secured the end of round 2 on that map with the big well in the middle that lucio, orisa, and roadhog like to boop people in to.

I also used Hanzo one match (for some reason it doesn't show on overbuff but I know it happened as I didn't play arcade last night) and man he IS busted lol. I never even really aimed at anyone, I just shot arrow after arrow into crowds and got so many headshots. Had gold damage that game. I am, however, bad at placing his ult it seems.

You'll never see me use Zarya or Moira (outside of mystery heros) though, I just can't play characters I don't like.
