I disagree. It showed a part of the world and the Omnic Crisis never really explored before. The weakest cinematic when it comes to story and lore is Soldier: 76's. It adds nothing that wasn't already known. Nah they managed to execute the soldier video well despite it being a bit well worn. This one barely explores DVA and it comes across as generic. How did they execute the soldier video well? We learn nothing about him and there is absolutely no world-building. We learn that some people don't like Omnics but we already knew that from other shorts. Meanwhile this one shows the situation for the East Asian countries for example how the Omnic Crisis has never ended for them, and explores a completely different side to D.Va on multiple levels from her happy-go-lucky demeanor being a front to her actual motivations and so on. |

I agree that the D.Va video was good. I liked it anyway. Granted I haven't seen all the shorts.
Rein's was easily the best of the ones I've seen though.

Seeing the gameplay of Cyberpunk 2077, I can't help but laugh at how similar female V looks to Sombra, especially considering both involve stuff like hacking.  Also apparently Belgium has ruled that the Loot Boxes in Overwatch is gambling so is illegal. |

The D.Va short wasn't the best short - not even close - but at least it showed a different side of the character. I still think the Mei short is the weakest.
