My name is MstrJedi Kyle (MJK if you prefer) and I'm fleeing the destruction of my BSN home. What drew me to the BSN forums in the first place was the ME3 ending. I had to see if that ending was really the end or if I missed something. I stayed for the MP forums and the Bronze Effect group. Hi all my fellow bioware forum people!
Some things about me: i love daO da2 daI me1 me2 me3, yeap i like them all, i find great value in these games and i keep/kept playing them.
I 've been a bsn member since 2009, mostly a lurker but occasionally i made some threads expresiing my love for bioware games and responding to critisicm and various other threads about characters , story music etc. i got shocked after the news that bsn was shutting down.I got really bummed as this was the only forum i kept visiting . Sad also to see that there are various iterations of bsn now, would be great if we were united once more. I decided to join this forum. Lets hope for the best and that bioware has an eye over us and not keep focusing in crappy places like TRUMBRL (whatever this crap is called), facebook, reddit etc.

Well, I was PhroXenGold back on the old boards but went for the shortened version here because I'm lazy. I'm not sure exactly when I first signed up to Bioware forums - might have even been all the way back when the BIS boards got killed as I was a regular on them in ye olde days - but I was a very occasional poster up until a couple of years back when I started actually being part of the community.

Realized I have been so busy behind the scenes here mostly that I failed to make an introductory post in here. A lot of the old timers know me, but for the new faces, I first joined the BioWare forum in 2010 after purchasing Dragon Age: Origins and falling in love. Saw Mass Effect was by the same developer, so I tried it out and fell in love all over again. And then my life turned upside down in 2012 and, oddly enough, Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer helped me through it. Story here: While I've been active in both the single player and multiplayer forums of both Dragon Age and Mass Effect, I'm probably more well-known for my MP history. I'm the creator of both the ME3MP Resource Library and the DAIMP Resource Library. I also organized an ME3MP tournament, the N7 Gauntlet, and am eager to see if Andromeda allows me to do something similar again. And over in the DAIMP forum, my daily Twitch sessions for a month for my Superb Heal on Kill Ring Quest became quite popular, as people were betting what day the RNG Troll Store might finally bequeath me with the One Ring literally everyone else and their dog had by that time in the game (nine months after release). Now I'm the Community Manager here and happy to see where the future takes us. Watching this makes me reflect on a lot of things. Obviously, I think about the games, the people behind the games, and the considerable impact they have had upon my life. I'll always be appreciative of the team's tremendous, decade long efforts (and counting!) to make this happen. It's nice to be reminded, through the eyes and experiences of another, just how positive the experience has truly been. More importantly, it makes me think about things beyond gaming. I honestly do make these more important things a focus every day of my life, but it's special and very moving to hear someone else's story. I was definitely tearing up more than once while watching and listening. Thanks, Tiffany/DragonRacer, for sharing your experience. Anyone who missed this amongst the hundreds of posts should give it a view. |

I couldn't go past the 1:20 mark but only because something very similar happened to me and I know first-hand what comes after. In my case it was DAO that got me out.
