Hello. Any regulars know who I am and newbies that joined bsn in the recent years who where not there when that whole mess went down between me and Priestly you know me as Mr.House.

Well, I see I have this shiny new sticker next to my name. It's time for a reintroduction for those that are new.

Greetings, friends. My name is SciFiGuy, but you may call me what you wish

First off, welcome newcomers! Whether you're here to chat or just to lurk, it's always nice to see new faces. We hope that you enjoy it here.

Well, I see I have this shiny new sticker next to my name. It's time for a reintroduction for those that are new.

Hiya! I've been going as Natashina on the net for nearly 20 years now. I'm almost 37 years old and live in Colorado. I'm the proud auntie of a beautiful little girl and the "mom" of two terrier mixes. I've been married to a man I call Sasquatch for over 10 years. I'm into a lot of different kinds of music, but industrial is my favorite.

As far as games goes, RPGs are my preferred genre. I've been playing RP video games since 1990. My dad got me into BioWare games starting with Baldur's Gate back in 1998. I fell in love with the company and never looked back. I own most of their games except for Jade Empire. I haven't gotten a chance to play KotOR.

I was on the BWF from 2012 til August 11th of this year. I joined originally because I was giving feedback on a Neverwinter Nights 2 mod. I became full time in late 2013 and started my first thread in January of 2014. I strive to remain civil and polite. We're all here because of shiny pixels set to a good story. Your Mileage May Vary of course, but it is those games that bring us together. I enjoy being a nice guy and meeting various people.

So that's a bit about me.  I call myself an envoy.  It's a synonym for diplomat.

Since I'm now a moderator, I only have two requests from you guys:

1) Obey the Rule of The Dude. Don't be a dick to each other. I don't expect everyone to agree.  That's good, great in fact. Different opinions keep ideas flowing after all, and it will fuel this site. However, keep the insults out of it. Attack the words, not the poster.

Also, if you and another posters are bickering off topic for a couple of pages, I'm going to step in and politely ask you guys to take it to PM. As amusing as it can be to watch two posters sniping at each other, it derails threads and leaves a bad impression.

Finally, leave old baggage behind as much as possible. Many of us here were active for years on the BWF (my term for the BioWare Forums,) and are familiar with each other's habits. Again, I don't expect everyone to get along. However, before you start yelling at each other, talk to the mods.

2) Try to share bug fixes, tips, guides and walkthroughs that you have! Fextra did an excellent job of backing up those posts from the BWF, but having a second place for that kind of information would help tremendously. Even if you just want to share a weird audio bug, or the best setup for a boss fight.

It goes in reverse too. Don't ever be afraid to ask for any help or tips. Most of us has been in that position. No such thing as a stupid question if you're willing to learn. By asking for those tips and sharing that feedback, it'll help all of us get the most bang for our buck.

If anyone has any questions, I'm around pretty frequently. If I can't answer them, then I'll make sure to pass the word along to someone that can.

Remember, we're all here because of a shared love of BioWare games. For some that love has turned quite bitter, but it largely still remains. We can get very passionate and heated about these games and sometimes to intense degrees. Yet, we are all united in that respect. Be cool to each other and this little site is going to go far.
