So do you guys think there will be any characters in Andromeda that are voiced by actors who were in Star Trek like in the previous mass effect games (ME1 - Raphael Sbarge, Armin Shimerman, Marina Sirtis, Dwight Schultz ME2 - Michael Dorn ME3 - Simon Templeman)? That was one of the things I really liked about the original trilogy.

Ohhh I had forgotten about that link, looking forward to a Patrick Stewart voiced Kett translator and a Will Wheaton voiced space mouse Would be cool if Mark Meer and Jennifer Hale had some cute cameos too, I'd love that so much

It's entirely possible. Also, I'm just happy Simon Templeman VO's games. Only saw him credited in one Star Trek episode... guess that still counts? Either way he's one of my favorite VO's out there.
Also Marina Sirtis was awesome a Benezia. BioWare just does some damn good VO picks in general. They always seem to fight the right person for their characters, and they make amazing characters. ME original cast was amazing. Looking forward to more of that in MEA, whoever they pick for all the roles.
...I mean Clancy Brown? Hell yeah, that was like when I first heard Keith David or Lance Henriksen. Just hell yeah to all of that lol.

not sure. Non Star Trek but famous related, I want Ving Rhames to play a major character in Mass Effect someday. Almost like a new version of Admiral Anderson played by Keith David. Many people are sad that there's no more Shepard. Mass Effect isn't the same without another awesome black mentor like Anderson

He did a couple of Charmed episodes as well I think where he played a spirit of Death or something if I recall. As for Star Trek actors appearing in Andromeda it's possible but I don't know. Would love to see it though but as long as it's a good game and the VA's do a good job I don't mind who does it. IMO Bioware don't tend to let us down though when it comes to good voice acting in their games

I met Keith David at a party after Mass Effect 3 was released. I was fanboying hard. Got a pic with him and we chatted a bit. I said I was depressed I'd never get to hear Admiral Anderson again and Keith said "Well, I could come back in a holo vid or something." Yeah, I'd love some Star Trek actors. How about Robert Picardo who played the awesome Doctor on Voyager? I also think Armin Shimmerman voiced Fai Dan on Feros, right?

I never realized Raphael Sbarge and Simon Templeman were "Star Trek" actors. They were "Carth Onasi" and "Kain", respectively, for me. Templeman will always be Kain for me, most likely.
No disrespect to the OP, but this poll needs a "Who Cares?" option to round out the field. That would be my choice. Trek is okay, but I'm less of a fan than many here, I imagine.

All I need is a good story with good VA's that do a good job it dosen't really matter too much to me who they get. As long as they do a good job and it's a good enjoyable game that's all that matters as far as I'm concerned.

My first choice is obviously that they cast whoever it is that will do the best work.
All things equal, I'd like the work to mostly go to VAs who make a living doing VA work. Let screen actors do their screen acting, and VAs do their VA work. Admittedly, from what Tom Taylorson has said, VA work isn't particularly competitive, in that work is plentiful. That, I guess, brings us back to my first point: Cast the best men and women for the parts. Freddie Prinze, Jr. was amazing in ME3, and I'd never have thought of him as a ME VA beforehand.
I really have no idea whom to expect; I just expect high quality from a BioWare game.

The fact that a character in mass effect is voiced by someone who was on Star Trek is just sort of a fun Easter egg for me since I spent a lot of time watching Star Trek with my mom when I was younger.
