Guys,Doc is right.Some characters can't sub because of low DPS. As Doc mentioned Phoenix Adept has slow animations even with smash cancel. I will try,but the success is doubtful. Oh? Somebody's done his Gordian Hour and now they're lecturing TheDoc...

Guys,Doc is right.Some characters can't sub because of low DPS. As Doc mentioned Phoenix Adept has slow animations even with smash cancel. I will try,but the success is doubtful. U gotta be faster U don't say. Tried several times.The fastest run ended up 20:50 or something like that.On glacier and with almost perfect spawns.Sorry guys,this character just sucks.Deal with it.I mean he is soo fun,but in DPS part he is just not enough good.Probably with endless grinding i can be close to 20-19:58,but it doesn't worth the effort.
