I've been working on this one since I started this thread, believing, erroneously, that the Huntress is the only Asari I didn't do yet - but there's the Vanguard too. Drell Infiltrator Bateman1980 I August 25 I 24:09 I White I Cerberus I Hurricane & Venom I 10 WSEscort, Hack, Escort Another DAI run, I were trying to do a better time with the Vanilla HSent but the game just kept trolling me with devices and targets so I had enough and did another DAI run, I were lucky with good objectives and another 10 WS. This will be it for a while, soon time for a long business trip again. |

The Platinum Solos Hall of Fame is up to date, with: - Submissions from two new players (Lvca_gr and ketsuzoku)
- 20 new entries
- Five of which had 10 WS! Impressive stuff!
- And one - The Doctor's Geth Trooper - had the fastest recorded time (17:48) for a non-modded platinum solo!
The Platinum Solos Statistics are up to date as well, now complete with player, kit and map rankings and weapon type comparisons. Well done, brave soloists, and keep up the good work!

Asari VanguardSmehur | Sept 3, 2016 | 43:06 | White | Cerberus | Talon (v) I was trying to do the Blue Shift challenge from Weekly Themed Solos 2, which features the same kit, only vs Geth on Reactor, and that was just way too hard for me. So I switched to this supposedly easy setup but it still took quite a few attempts, most of which ended with sync-kills and ocassional w10 targets. Anyway, with this I've soloed Platinum with every Asari.

Not really if you use a kit with great power damage against armor, Reapers with the Justicar or Huntress is more than doable with only the Shuriken.
To count imo it should be the main weapon you use, otherwise anyone could just use the DAI with Venom and guns like the Shuriken as a secondary to take a few shots here and there, don't really count in my book unless it's the main gun.

I know, three people have done it and I watched a near-completed HGlacier-Collectors solo with an Avenger on Youtube, so it can be done. The Manits isn't that bad of a gun, far better than many of the uncommon and rare SR and way better than any of the other common guns. |
