Question for all of you that play a lot of Drell Assassin, how do you use recon mine? meaning, when do you detonate? do you follow cycles of cloak-detonate-shoot-place by default or there's more to it?

I think the lesson here is that no matter what the question is, Venom is the answer... Good work! How can I shoot this bad guy behind the wall ?  smart ass and besides, the answer is still Venom: you just gotta bounce it off the wall through the doorway |

The best way is cloak-detonate,but depends from the field situation.Somtimes i detonate it without cloak.Also your build should be power-based,then just shot,cloak,detonate=win.  |

Yeah, I don't really visit the forums daily anymore. But I check this thread and the themed challenges a couple times a week. Basically I could update on a weekly basis but it seems kind of silly to go through the works for fewer than 10 submissions. Anyway, I'm around, not going anywhere, and not sitting idly either; I'm working on a database-driven version of Pres' site, one that will be automatically updated with every submission that's entered into the database, all with global and personalized stats and search capabilities and what have you, at a fraction of effort that's needed right now. But I'm still quite a ways from having anything I could put online and show off. Hope I'll get there before MEA. |

Not sure when one of those happened the last time in any of my solos, so you guys might be onto something with your guess that the game is trying to tell us something.  |

Alternated with a few Krodept solos when failing the Drelldept one. Sure was playing too cautious after being punished by collectors . Could'nt adapt to 5000 shield after 450 . Could nt really fail either. I don't use mele,even with Krogan Warlord Sent. I just love my weapons. I've done 3 challenges with him and used mele only on gold,because the challenges requred mele kills.Since the medals are waived on plat i used only the weapons. Also congrats on the runs,it's my favorite krogan and one of my favorite characters. But you did melee plat solos with the Shadow and Batguard... SMH. Bashing the head of a Phantroll or Dragoon is extremely fun and don't get me started on punishing the Geth... You are right Doc,i did those mele runs,but they were requested by one subscriber.I don't like mele,but it doesn't mean that i can't use it I have to admit that the run with the batguard was fun,though. |

The End Drell Infiltrator Bateman1980 I Feb 27 2017 I 22:07 I White I Cerberus I Venom I 10 WSHack, Pizza, Pizza This was my last solo done in this game, with 3 weeks left until ME:A I decided to finish off my 150th solo mastery with my 305th Platinum solo, amazingly no devices or targets this time, I was expecting the regular troll fest. Thanks a lot to Smehur for maintaining and updating the archives and thanks a lot to all amazing soloers that have made this thread a joy to follow, and who knows maybe there will be a soloing scene also in ME:A - if that's the case I'll see you there! |
