targets, targets, targets

I went to the next map in line. Got three targets, rocketed five (the very first was a necessity, I also missiled the W10 ones because I realized this can be a sub-60 time). It nearly was a sub-50, could have been a sub-45? Good map-enemy combo for sniping, bad for objectives (I dread devices on Hydra). Died only once, in W9. My fastest solo so far.

I'm at work right now, but I'll edit this post with some more info. In short, some spots are really good sniping corridors, where you have good line of sight to the respawns and can kill 6-7 Dragoons before getting overwhelmed. As for targets, sniping from afar+cover penetration+big Atlas did the trick.
So: at the beginning of every wave I stayed near the starting point, so they spawn on th ground. I sniped them, and retreat to the very left and run in the corridor. From the begiining of this to the end, in softcover. Prime sniping spot 1, because when I slowly retreated, the enemies did not come from behind, and when killed, spawned at the end of this corridor or the starting point. Three BW shot, three head shot, three dragoons. Eventually, you have to retreat. You arrive here, prime sniping spot 2 (NightSlasher found it on google, same time, creepy), upper two pic. At the box, you can snipe both sides until overwhelmed (be careful: killed enemies can spawn from both sides). Run back to starting point and repeat the circle.
I did not necessarily write this to you, as you probably know all this, but maybe it can help less experienced players, or not so good snipers. I hope it is understandable, as I can't record it from a PS3.

I've done it when I get bored at work. It gives me different strategies and it's nice to see how others play. Not everyone can do those 20-30 minute speedruns.

yeah not sure it translates nor work in english. We used that a lot at a time for soccer players, saying for example Ribery has 3 Valbuena in each Calf. Meaning Valbuena is a joke compared to Ribery.

Why spitfire Doc?

Yes,roleplay,but i hate that gun.There are many better choices.

First plat solo done.

As I've mentioned in the gold solo thread I started out playing on an alt account that had everything unlocked and Fury was the kit I wanted to solo plat with just because she's got basically everything (except anti-shield ability, but that's what Acolyte is for. Coincidentally it's my second rare weapon at X).

I finally unlocked her a few days ago on my own account after some fail attempts with the Batarian Adept, then spent some time studying plat solo videos in the archive to learn such elite tricks as how to hide your missile (which I forgot to do) and how to handle devices (which I got on w10 and panicked) and then failed a bunch, wasted all my cyclonic 3s and had to downgrade to 2, then got angry and reckless and somehow that managed to shave off about ten minutes from most of my previous attempts. I actually find soloing a little lacking in dynamism compared to how fun team games are and have a bit of trouble staying focused and actually alive (which is why I tried to speedrun as much as I could), but the rush of actually finishing and in a time I'm fairly happy with for now and not getting targets is undeniable.

Although some goons almost took me out in extraction when I had no gel and with about a minute and a half to go and shaved twenty years from my life.

Anyway that's my essay on video games for the day, I guess.

First platinum solo run, took me a long time (like 20 attempts) but finally i finished.

Also i'm looking to get a spectre rank, so my next run will be geth, this will be interesting.
