Had no hopes for today. Amazon screenshots were far more than I expected. But for real, what are we at? 35 days until we can all pick up our pre-orders? I've rewatched all the Mass Effect: Andromeda advertising since E3 2014 (back when we knew it as Mass Effect: 4) and I am still confused...

No CC, barely a second of the dialogue wheel, no news about the Ryder twins personalities, nearly no waifu information, no crafting news beyond a devs tweet, barely a glimmer of what the story is about... And a big focus on combat gameplay in an attempt to entice fps/tps players like me? Please no "Action" mode... That was just insulting to hardcore RPG fans and FPS/TPS players alike.

The only olive branches thus far (in my personal opinion anyway) have been the VGA trailer/character bios/second cinematic trailer/squad AI video. The rest have been dispersed and forgettable. And the "Become the Pathfinder" video was awful...

... Okay, sorry to rant. Just frustrated at being nickled & dimed when it comes to my favourite franchise. EA/BioWare is hardly obligated to advertise their product (that I already payed for, and have been waiting 3 years for, and have to chat about on an unofficial forum since they closed down their own Mass Effect forums), just would love something more substantial before the game hits the shelves... Yes I realize how whiney and entitled that sounded. But I've had plenty of time for my optimism and hype for ME:A to fade...

It's blatantly not coming out until next year.

I'm under the impression that we are going to get an avalanche of info pouring through. Enough that we won't know what to do with it all. That's optimism speaking of course.

How much you want to bet that's an actual line from the romance?

I'm glad I'm not the only one. What is up with the tip of her nose being so long? I have never seen anyone with a nose like that. Someone either needs to show me a photo of a real person with a similar nose or mod it right quick, because otherwise the bizarre unrealism of it will bother me every time I see her in profile.

No. I am not. And I wasn't being literal. Neither am I attacking anyone (so why are you insulting me), or even saying the game will suck (I really hope it is great). Just voicing my (negative) opinion of ME:A's marketing (which I supported until the last couple of months). But I don't want an argument. So let's leave it at this.

P.S: According to the poll in the "Rate the Marketing" thread, I am not the only one who would've liked more out of the advertising.

I thought they would use the day to reveal some or all LI. Guess not.

BioWare is really foolish.

They said otherwise many times. I don't know why people were expecting them to change their minds, no matter the opinion on their stance.

Even though they are clearly wrong, because Cora lacks actual butch features and this haircut is not related to stereotypical feminism, we are at truce in the face of "Cora looks fine" horde.
