Who's up for Early Access multiplayer on March 16?

My main concern is to be 'spoiled' on maps referenced in the single-player campaign,
though as I'm watching every video going, that might be a vain hope.

I'll do the early access, assuming my bargain bin trash PC will run it, but I only plan on recording Turian gameplay. Maybe if I can round up other people who unlock Turians I'll try to record a quadruple Turian game, for Reasons.

If you don't want to pay extra for Access, you'll need to cancel your preorder, wait till March, get Access, preorder again and play the 10h on the 16th. The price of Access for a month and the 10% discount it provides should cancel each other out. Don't forget to cancel your Access after the game comes out.

I'm actually not sure about that. But the early access discount doesn't apply retroactively to preorders and I'm assuming that you don't want to fork over extra cash for it. Since you have preordered anyway, it doesn't really matter.

Maybe I should politely ask EA support if they give me 1 week Origin Access for free as a gift starting at the 16th. Because it's my birthday on the 16th and they just did a promo for 7 days of free testing I did not use...

Just so I know, I got a month trail for EA access will I be able to play the early access or do I need that and order Andromeda? If that was the case I'd just wait the extra week since I'm getting the physical copy

You dont need preorder in order to play 10 hours trial. This trial and preorder have nothing to do.

10 hours is such a limited amount of time. PC players who do not have state-of-the-art Pascal GPUs might want to spend somewhere between the first few minutes to the first half an hour figuring out a stable graphics setting to begin with. Freaks who like to run their games with MSI Afterburner might take more than an hour to figure out the best graphics settings.

Now once that is done, you will open the Multiplayer mode and chances are that initially the powers, builds, guns, itens, gears, the store, factions, maps and everything else will feel overwhelming. And then you will try to set up a private lobby with players possibly from different regions and hopefully be able to load a match together (god willing there is no region lock).
And then, who knows what happens, especially if there is no beta beforehand. The game mode might take place on an arena-like map (ME3MP), or on a tunnel-dungeon type of map (DAMP). Who knows.

Well, I have always seek to play effectively, and make the most of my hours in game. Being a human guine pig not fully knowing what to expect from this Multiplayer mode feels kinda not really for me. Personally, I don't feel like it is the best way to spend 10 precious hours.

I think I will only spend my 10 hours on it if there is a beta beforehand and youtube videos before March 16th to get an idea of what it is like. Or I might decide to play it once others have spent their hours and reported back how it works.

Exactly this. I want to go into mp first to see what happens with as little knowledge as possible.
