It was always a feature and was confirmed so by the ME2 combat designer back then. And if it's in ME:A it's a feature as well because it will be totally different code in a totally different engine. But yeah... I guess the discussion will continue anyways then.

With the right team fire can be very enjoyable. I have only been getting somewhat up to speed the past couple of days, one thing I found frustrating in ME/MP was the nurfing and buffing, hopefully the dev have a good handle this time, got the Typhoon when it first came out, good lord that weapon was OP at the start.

Console is better. The low frame rate makes the game looks more cinematic, and the controller allows for better aiming and offers a superior gaming experience compared to a mouse and keyboard.

What was the Cool Beats vs. Power Chord thing? I played DAMP, but never heard of it (I dropped the game after aquiring and posting Katari banner and playing some of the game after dragons were introduced)

In ME3MP, reload cancelling was called a "clever use of game mechanics" by the devs.  So, tacit approval.  As far as banning other, more egregious glitches, like the dreaded missile glitch, some were banned.

In DAIMP, attack animation cancelling, to my knowledge, was neither endorsed nor proscribed by any dev.  Other glitches, like the infamous double/triple XP glitches, were addressed by the dev's, but no one was banned, at least to my knowledge.

Let's hope MEAMP turns out well; and if there are game breaking glitches, the dev's promptly and appropriately address them and their users.
