The Official Angara Thread

The males seem to be rather top heavy, reminding me of draenei in a way. I hope the females have rather large sloppy breasts

I had a feeling they may lean towards Twi'lek, given their head...tentacle...things.

I don't like their designs. They look like squishy fish-men. I hope they grow on me.

Not fish. Cat. It's a cat-men.

They look interesting. I'm looking forward to learning about their culture. I hope BW releases some info this week on them. I'm hoping they lean towards a more peaceful society. But can definitely defend themselves when attacked.

One of them is a romanceable squadmate, and they live on a beautiful homeworld (architecture from what is seen is nice), also though it's hard to see I believe they have teeth similar to humans (when jaal is coming toward the main protagonist, a female in the back is speaking and you can kind of see her teeth, so no vorcha/turian teeth)

I believe the tentacles are actually connected to the neck, so it's more like a cobra's neck rather than a twi'leks lekku's(?), so lobster cobra cats? and they have some kind of semi-shiny substance under the flaps on the top of their head.

Yeah the head and neck look attached. And I don't really see this cat thing. I see a simian-like appearance with reptilian and aquatic characteristics. 

We'll be seeing this guy at some point!

@beautesombre Ikr, I love his colouring and the markings. I hope the quest he's involved is a happy but heartfelt one, seeing as he was designed along with someone who works for charity!

Yes! Sweet and gentle. I wonder if he'll know Jaal... 

So we'll probably have some plot-relevant Angara beyond Jaal and his friends. 

I'm not too impressed with them so far, so I hope their stories, environments, and characters are awesome.

Jaal does seem to start off with the Infiltrator type (but JUST type; Cora is 'Vanguard' but boost shields, Peebee is 'Adept' but likes guns and uses Tech, so..), and is a sniper I believe, but he could be more than that. Leaning Tech? Leaning Combat? Able to use Biotics like Thane could?

He's a 'resistance fighter'. I wonder how this applies in combat. Could he be both distance-based AND in stealth? Guerrilla fighter theme? Less about 'powerful' sniping than Garrus was?

A gist I get from the Angara is that they're highly peaceful but at least sometimes driven to combative means (and maybe more; manipulation, etc? No clue).

As with any peacefully portrayed society in Mass Effect, I'm more interested in what darkness may be hiding behind them.
