PC. Higher framerate with better and prettier visuals, more control options and the potential for mods. DA:I has a few mods I wouldn't want to live without now that I've experienced the game with them.

Generally they are ones that modify the content that is in stores for either crafting recipes or other items to make the game more convient to play. Here is a link to the one I use.

I have XB1 and PS4 Pro. Will be buying it for both eventually. I have EA Access so will likely buy on XB1 first for the discount, then later on PS4 Pro once it goes on sale. Nice part of having on XB1 is I can also download for free on Win10 PC at any time, no additional cost. I haven't seen Microsoft or BioWare announce that it was part of Play Anywhere which is the only time I know of that it would be available on both unless you mean streaming it from your console to play on your PC. Yeah, that would be streaming. Probably won't ever do it since I have both consoles, but it does sound like a cool feature, which will no doubt requires tweaks over time.

I wouldn't use anything on a first playthrough as it's always a fine idea to experience it as the developers intended on a first run, but along with the aforementioned mod linked above, I've been rocking War Table - No Waiting, More Banter, More Loot, No Fog of War and Crossroads Crafting Supply. Like I said, nothing I would recommend on a first playthough as some of these will give you a bigger advantage than what the developers intended, but after several playthroughs, they help cut down the time it takes to slog through some of the grinding.

As a disillusioned former Mac user, I dread vendor lock-in. The idea of buying software that works on a single machine from a single vendor is too much of a constraint. I was quite happy with my PS4, but this concern is what led me to go back to PC. There's no hardware vendor that I'm bound to, and neither do I need to worry about which piece of software runs on which generation of hardware. ... of course, with a Windows PC, you're bound to an MS license; but at least that's not hardware restricted. For all usage scenarios except games, I use Linux as my OS anyhow -- and the Linux gaming catalog has gone supernova over the past couple of years. For titles that don't run on Linux, I boot into the Windows partition, which is fast enough on an SSD anyhow. I've been close to caving to Mac a few times over the years, but I stayed strong. The majority of my gaming buddies (PC) swear by Linux, but i'm too lazy to do anything with it besides dick around. I don't really trust myself with open source either and Linux is a bottomless chasm of death in that regard. With that said any gaming catalog going "supernova" is worth a look.

I played the OT on the 360, but switched to PC for the simple fact of modding. I will never look back. MODS. You're speaking my language.

I have a gaming PC and an Xbox One. I pre-ordered for the PC because I prefer the experience: fps, graphics and modding if wanted, kb+m are more comfortable to me than a controller, but I plan on getting it for the Xbone eventually as well.

I have both a Xbox One and Gaming Computer, but at the moment it's being still built. Since my pc's not in working condition
I preordered MEA for my Xbox One, I'm a little upset but later I'm going to buy MEA for my new custom pc in the near future. - Wolf
Is this a freshman build? If so I envy you. There is nothing quite like building your own machine for the first time. Musings aside, take your time with the build. If you find yourself on the fence concerning two parts, for example (RAM especially), and theres only a difference of like $30, spend the extra money. It will be worth it (granted you've done your research) in the long run.

I've been close to caving to Mac a few times over the years, but I stayed strong. One of the biggest issues is forced obsolescence; perfectly functional versions of the OS just stop getting any updates (not even security patches) making them unsafe to use. User applications also arbitrarily stop functioning on whichever version of the OS the vendor wants. It's as though the user is pressured from all sides to regularly buy a new Mac every couple of years -- which is what happens on the phone market, of course, but at least there the rationale for upgrade is usually that there's a steady increase in the hardware's capabilities that make the handhelds more and more capable with every revision. PCs have attained that 'do-everything-workstation' status long ago; for everyday use a 12 year old Core Duo laptop is still pretty much OK nowadays. Also Apple's hardware updates on the laptop lines were making less and less sense, at the time when I finally stopped checking. For a few years after they transitioned to Intel, the price/performance balance was pretty good too, but nowadays the entire line seems to be overpriced. People who just want to get some tasks done on a computer rightly want the OS to become transparent; Linux distros have been making huge progress 'getting out of the user's way' lately; but to be perfectly honest I still can't recommend a total switch if the user isn't prepared to 'look under the hood' every once in a while. Testing out whether you like the system is pretty easy, though; just get Oracle VirtualBox, and download a live dvd from distros that make it available (Ubuntu might be the most straightforward. I'm an openSUSE guy; but openSUSE doesn't come with the multimedia codecs etc. ready, for example.), so you can just launch a full session without any sort of installation, and tinker with the virtual system without fear of damaging anything on the real system.

Have all the parts I need already picked out,
At the moment I just need free time to build my pc. No time mostly do to kid (she was just born), wife, older dog (has his own needs) and my job,
Right now I'm not even sure were I'm going to get the time to play Mass Effect Andromeda from.. man what I would give for a little spare free time.

This is exactly the reason I haven't made the switch. I wouldn't look under the hood enough with the OS in order to justify having it. I'd do it a great disservice. Its actually quite bizarre because I enjoy playing around with add-ons and art/texture mods for a few of the games I play, but that's mostly it (though I wouldn't really consider this coding). I'm starting to chalk it up to the fact that I don't find as much excitement in writing OS code. Sure the customization/optimization possibilities are near limitless, but I guess you can say Windows has programmed me enough that i'm comfortable enough with it not jump ship. With that said I absolutely loath WX. If Microsoft manages to out-due themselves the next go around and deliver something even worse it might be time to change gears.
