Reviewers 'hands on preview' embargo ends at 9 AM EST/ 6 AM PST so news will probably start to roll around that time, nice and early in the morning! Also "Everything is up for discussion - missions they played, including side missions, gameplay, lore, all six squadmates, how the game begins (but not how Ryder becomes the Pathfinder)."
If you plan on going dark soon I would recommend doing so around that time, since they can discuss everything they got to play, minus how Ryder becomes pathfinder.
NOTE: This is not the full Review embargo, that's much later.

We know one squadmate was cut from the base game due to being too "similar" to a companion from the original trilogy. More than likely I see this companion being added as DLC, filling the companion roster out to seven characters. |

No. Bioware would have announced a Day-one DLC squadmate long ago. They did it with Javik without revealing he is a Prothean until game's release. |

The game is less then a month from being released and they didn't show it in the deluxe edition, even in a vague sense. I think there are good chances we might get a dlc squadmate later on, but at launch, considering the situation, seems really unlikely. |

Seemed to me they were more going for the smaller more tight knit group like in ME1 than adding some DLC character on launch day like ME3.
Course doesn't mean they can't add one at a later date

I won't go dark if there won't be any unpredictable surprises. I imagine the marketing to very tightly controlled, so I would know just enough to get by. I will go dark only if the entire plot will get datamined/leaked, or/and when I see that the game achievements are announced or leaked.
