Well, the talking thing... I've noticed that, as well, but you can actually talk to them. Sometimes you just have to move around them a little, until the E appears. It can be tricky and bit annoying but the E will appear eventually, sometimes from a certain angle. At least it has appeared for me. Hope this helps.

Anyone else here encounter this bug? It's the bug the OP of that thread is having, just linking to that specific post because it links to several other threads on the same issue.

The game crashes when I go through the Nexus docking bay towards the Tempest (PC). it's the first bug I've encountered in my game but unfortunately it's gamebreaking, I can't continue. bug report sent. from answers.ea.com it seems a lot of people are having the same issue. I'm not sure that it's related to a specific quest (like Contagion or Life on the Frontier), seems more like a problem with all the new things that are supposed to be firing on this visit to the Nexus. anyway, I tweeted asking, but also wanted to ask onforum in case, does anyone know of a temporary workaround til they fix it in a patch (please fix it in a patch BioWare)? I can load an earlier save and keep playing from where I was on the Tempest, but I'm afraid to do more in case
1) it completes more stuff meaning there would be more stuff to fire and get through the next time I dock at the Tempest (potentially making problem worse)
2) there's no fix other than "go back to a much earlier save" (if for example it is actually to do with having picked up a specific quest that is causing the issue) because in this scenario I'm already having to replay all that content, so what's the point of playing more at the moment since it would just add even more stuff to the pile of things to replay. if that makes sense

What are you expecting? This system is near the minimum requirements so it should handle 720p at 30 FPS as Bioware said.

If that doesn't work I think it probably is tied to some sidequests and depend on which you have active/which order/some combination of the above

If you go too low with settings and resolution you are pushing all the work in the CPU, and yours is on the low end when it comes to gaming performance. It might seem counter productive, but you should rise the resolution and some graphical settings.

seems to have resolved it! since then at different times I made test runs through the Nexus to areas like Ops and Hyperion, and was able to travel back through the docks back to the Tempest without issue even after doing a bunch of side content. so so far so good, thankyou very much blanks

in case it's of any relevance I also turned off cloud-saving in the game and in Origin too (thanks Hrungr )

definitely seems like it's an issue with not having advanced the main story to a certain point at that time, not with any of the sidequests various people have speculated it might be associated with.

Does anyone have a fix for infinite loading screens? Its annoying af. It doesn't happen if I die and reload, it only happens after I have exited the game and try and load a save. It doesn't happen every time, but it happens enough to be really really annoying.

Heya, a bit of an issue I'm having for the APEX HQ app. I tried checking Google, Answers HQ, and Reddit, but I can't seem to find an answer to this predicament anywhere. I installed the app onto my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S6), but anytime I try to log into the app, I get the following error:

"Your credentials are incorrect or have expired. Please try again or reset your password."

I have done the following to try and fix this:

Closed the app completely.
Turned my phone off and on.
Cleared the cached data.
Resetting my password.
Reinstalling the app.
Using WiFi instead of my data (service is LMT since I am currently in Latvia but the WiFi actually uses a U.S. IP address).
Installed the newest system update.
And probably something else that I've forgotten.

I know I am using the correct password as I am able to login just fine on the EA website (using my phone).

Any help would be appreciated as I am at work for the majority of the day, and would love to be able to work on my progress while I am not on my laptop. Thanks in advance.
