Jaal, at the moment, is in the same camp as Vega, Kaidan, Zevran, Fenris, Carver, and Ashley = they had limited interest to me. That status may change, once he is in the squad. Why? Visually, Jaal is unappealing.

Jaal (Angara) hits so many aesthetic levels that he is definitely going to attract a lot of women: asari (pretty vibrant blue/purple/pink colors), quarian (broad shoulders and bent legs), human (cat fetish  ), turian (tall, crested and digitigrade), krogan (scars) etc. Think of all that extra exotic poonani that will come flying your way, that you ordinarily would not get on your own because you're a hairy, squishy, weak human, and all thanks to Jaal. Plus, I heard...  he's gots a BIG PINK PEEPEE...  |

Girly? I wouldn't mind if he was girly... the problem is I don't find anything "girly" in his design apart from... is this the colour thing? The pink/purple? It's funny because until the aftermath of the II WW the pink colour was associated with men and the blue with women... If it's about the voice debate, I wish his voice was that one presented in the second cinematic trailer but it's not. He is probably that "alien voice who almost collapses breathless" from the first cinematic trailer. |

I don't have any opinion on Jaal yet. If he doesn't whine and follows orders, he'll be alright, I guess. Though I'm kinda hesitant to let him aboard - it doesn't seem overly wise to let an alien from a potentially hostile galaxy snoop around human technology.
