What Do You Want to See in the Planet Hubs?

I always want a combat arena, wish they would put them in more often ; ;

Even the tourney in DA:O I was hoping could be infinite. Usually for me, after I've beaten a game once or twice, what keeps me coming back is the combat. And having a place for pure combat goodness is always a good thing IMHO.

To me, it seems a great place to try precedual generation with enemy squads.

Even in the witcher 2, after I had seen both paths, the only reason I ever played the game again was for the arena.

It would be awesome if they did challenges as well, like they do in multiplayer. Like one weekend there's a Geth Kill challenge and if you participate, you get unique weapons and armor from the original trilogy + unique emails on your terminals. 

They have said that you can do stuff after the main game, I would love them to add small, but sweet things to the arena to keep people occupied, although that seems low on their list of priorities.

I want them to feel alive, with people actually moving around and not stuck in place. Give them schedules and have the place change over time. ME1 did this to a degree, where you came back to the Citadel after completing more of the story and new missions would be available. I also hope for seedy areas, strip clubs and the like because that stuff is just fun in an RPG. 

A Restaurant that is operated by a Krogan War-Chef.

Yeah we better get a freaking brothel this time around.

Definitely, I want these places to come across as if they've been lived in. They need to be dynamic. They need to be busy. They need to be used. It would even be nice if there are various districts, such as business, tourism, nightlife, industrial, etc.

Especially for the hubs filled with Milky Way races, I want to see that they've brought their culture and beliefs along with them into Andromeda. The more interesting things BioWare does, whether it's clubs, souvenirs, etc., the more immersive and memorable these places will be.

Also, I wouldn't be opposed to having an apartment again, similar to the Citadel DLC. It would be nice to have a place to just hang out at without it being business all the time.

sports bar. it would be nice if they have their own version of ESPN to watch whatever type of sports there is in Andromeda.

There should be some changes happening to the hub everytime you visit it to make it feel more alive. Maybe the first time you enter, one of the shopkeepers had just been robbed and cops/port security are at his store. The second time, maybe there's some game or something going on and the restaurants and bars are packed with people wanting to watch the match. It'd make it really fun to keep coming back just to see the various changes.

I hope we have more reason to return to the apartment too. It kinda feels like with Citadel, once the party hits, there is no real reason to return. It would be nice to invite LI's and friends over for some R and R. Maybe, like in citadel, you can go out, and depending on your choice, you can go to a nice Sports Bar (like themikefest suggested), restaurant, to do something similar to the card game in Inquisition 

 or if you wanted something more intense, a very fast paced place with questionable moral integrity to dance the night away and drink yourself into a stupor. 

Like the morning after cutscene will be Liam rolling off of Ryder's couch as Cora slowly limps to the kitchen behind him. 

Liam: let's agree to never do that again. 
Ryder *distant groaning*
Cora: I think I'm going to be sick. My poor liver.
Drack: hehe you pyjacks couldn't even handle a decade old Krogan at a drinking contest. 

God, I'm going to be disappointed if the Hubs aren't as cool as we hope they will be. 

Besides the obvious 'life' and 'interactivity' etc, more variety in the settlements.

Not every settlement is gonna be the same old shiny white/gray pod-buildings with futuristic door panels and holographic lights. While I like that look, and will certainly see some of them, why not a place that the settlers made out of wood because it's all they had available? I want a sci-fi shootout in an old-school rickety wooden tavern or something. I'm a big fan of the Firefly aesthetic, where some places are sleek and sci-fi and some places just scrape by with what they've got. 

The developers stop in here from time to time, if worst comes to worst, and the hubs aren't nearly like what we are suggesting, maybe they will work to make it better through dlc. It would be a shame not to give these characters more humanizing and humorous moments to make them likable. Surely, Bioware knows that it's going to be difficult as hell to follow characters like Grunt, Garrus, Wrex, Mordin, Joker, etc. 

These moments would be the characters saving grace and if Cassandra Pentaghast got her funny moments, than certainly Cora or anyone in our Pathfinder team should get their own.
