I swear Geralt is a man-whore. He's technically a male version of Isabela from DA2. The games all make it so much about how in love Geralt is with Triss/Yennefer but still has sub-plot after sub-plot where he screws left and right whilist not being on a break with his true GF. It's true to his book-character though. Good on that I guess. Makes the storytelling heavily inconsistent when it comes to side-quests. |

Well, yes and no... the idea of Geralt being promiscuitive came out of the books, yet it never was as "bad" as in the game. Thing is: As a Witcher, he is sterile and immune to STDs... two very appealing features to have in a largely non religiously chaste medieval society.  Also: Ok, no bush then... makes it even easier to show full frontal - just fudge the angles a bit.  |

Which means I always missed out because I'd feel way too guilty about cheating on Yennefer. Even though I'd never even met her. W2 was my entry to the world of Geralt so I'd never seen her, but Geralt was supposedly on some lovers quest to find her so I couldn't enjoy those dalliances. Canon Geralt was basically celibate. If those games had featured a younger, less established witcher character I would have been a total man-whore. |

The US market is still so prudish, I can't imagine them going all the way on this one. I'm sure they get the "nudity" tag for some exposed boobs and rear shots. I'm betting against crotch shots, though I'm not complaining either way. I tend to think its high time we got over our weird aversion to sex and obsession with grotesque violence in its place. But I'm also not desperate for digital skin flicks either. Just no more partially clothed shower scenes, OK? :smh:
