I voted for the Kodiak shuttle. Honestly in the future why would you traverse a planet in an obselete, outdated piece of 20th century technology like a tank when you have flying shuttles?(which would be faster, more manouverable, carry more peeps, better armed, able to reach spots and go places a land based vechicle simply cannot) etc. The Kodiak makes so much more sense. Its a shame its not included tbh. It would've been cool to have some planets where you have to use the Nomad, and others where you have to use the Kodiak etc as different planets would have different gravity levels and different geography/terrains etc... but i guessing, im assuming they have not gone into such levels of detail. Shame really. There's some fun to be had with that.

PS. EDIT: Forgot to add, You could even have seemless planet/upper atmosphere to surface(and vice versa) travel with the Kodiak. How cool would that be to pilot through that to and from the main ship etc.

I see why you joined the initiative....the people of the MWG just wouldn't understand your relationship with the nomad.

I'm more of a wait and see as I was never a huige fan of the vehivcles in Bioware'sgames before compared with other games but if ithandles wel then yes I'll like it I think. But right now I'm not too sure.

Nomad not having any kind of weapons is stupid. Explorers on a very expensive mission to find new worlds should've be prepared to deal with hostile environment. But honestly it's a part of the game that I'm looking forward to.

Yeah, that's a shame. Imagine If we could upgrade it like you can upgrade buggy in Dying Light. Put the ramming bar on it and krogan paint. Don't know if it would fit Mass Effect, but it would be fun for sure

Ive seen that. All the crew having a blast in their dune buggies. Even though its not very Star Treksy. Its the rule of cool i guess. But in Star Trek they still used shuttles to traverse planets more times than not. Ground based vechivles werent really a thing in the universe(i mean if you can instantly teleport to most places, you wouldnt need a vechicle in the first place). But i just think in terms of the world and space faring i think the Kodiak fits in better. Also you could have seemless planet/upper atmosphere to surface(and vice versa) travel with the Kodiak. How cool would that be to pilot through that to and from the main ship , instead of it being a cutscene etc. You'd have a lot of possibilities. But something like the nomad strikes me as much more 1 dimension and restrictive. A bit too video-gamey if you will.

Hopefully theyve combined the Kodiak with the Nomad perhaps. So the Nomad can do both.

I think one point many keep forgetting is that the Tempest and Pathfinder team are not the Alliance. They are explorers, first and foremost. They use violence as a last resort if all other options expire. The last thing any group of explorers would want to do is give the impression they are hostile invaders in a new galaxy.

I'm a little ashamed to admit I never was a huge fan of the Mako to begin with, although I'll be giving the Nomad a fair chance. So far it looks like a pretty sweet ride.
