How important is ME:A's multiplayer mode to you? (General forum edition)

I consider the MP to be the best part of ME3, so that should tell you my view on this already.

MEAMP isn't competitive, it's cooperative. Also:

I'd rather have an actual cooperative experience built into the single player rather than the cookie cutter firefight/zombies/horde mode ripoff that is ME3 MP. That being said, MEA MP at least looks better given the improvements to combat. If it's fun, doesn't get redundant, and the loot drops are reasonable, I'll probably play it quite a bit.

I'll probably do 2 playthroughs (one NG and one NG+) of the SP and then amuse myself with MP as long as I'm entertained by it.

It's semi-equal for me. I definitely learn more towards the SP portion initially of course, it's BioWare after all. But MP is something I know I'll play non-stop for months even when I've finished the SP a few times.

MP was actually an issue for me in ME3 in relation to playing the SP more then once. The ending was... well yeah anyway, all the other shit aside. Time passed and wanting to do another playthrough I found it 'extremely' hard to get back into the campaign simply because I was SO used to my character kits in MP and it just played so much slower (even as a Vanguard).

On the plus side I don't think that'll be a problem this time around. The character builds in SP looks to be whatever the hell you want + melee options now really let you re-make a class kit you may of liked in MP in SP now. Which is gonna do wonders for my replays after I've dumped hours into MP this time around.

So yeah, definitely looking forward to SP more atm, but I know MP will be a huge part of my life for the next 2 years. So I voted both evenly cause realistically thats the case.

I generally buy BioWare games for the single player story experience, but I'll definitely give the MP a go assuming it won't be a dumpster fire like DAMP.

ME3MP was how I got my money's worth out of ME3, a fun time killer that I put several hundred hours into. I hope for good soldier gunplay that isn't reliant on combo explosions (if I want to play an adept I'll pick one).

Mainly Multiplayer.

Between ME3 and DA:I I have over 6,000 hours invested, and those are mainly Multiplayer. If these games were only Single player, I would have invested only 5% of that time.

Moreover, I enjoy the socializing aspect of Multiplayer, talking to people as I play, sharing moments together, helping each other and supporting each other.
It is just crazy satisfying to get back home after work or study and have your team waiting for you and looking to play another Multiplayer session together. For me there is no experience in gaming anywhere as satisfying as that.

I'll mostly care about the Single Player. Gameplay without story is boring, in my opinion. Also, i didn't like the multiplayer in ME3 at all. Everything felt like it was a grind with: unlockking both characthers and weapons-- aswell as burning up these bizzare consumables.

Also, you felt really weak in the multiplayer. Shepard can kill a brute in a second-- even on insanity, it takes like a minute in multiplayer. Might be because i got in really late, and my most powerful weapon being the "Black Widow II".

I'll give it a shot though, but i probably won't be playing it much.

I'm not that good in multiplayer. I will definitely try it and play a few matches, but I have a feeling I will mostly do it to maximize SP rewards

Though I didn't play multiplayer that much I'm interested in both. Horde mode didn't seem that boring to me and I quite enjoyed it. It's amusing to see ME3 MP still fairly healthy to this day because of dedicated players in this community. So I hope it really goes well for Andromeda in terms of both SP and MP.

I'm not buying the game for it, but will try it definitely. ME3 MP was a way for me to play as weird stuff which feels different from Shepard, like vorcha, voluses and Juggernaut. If MEA MP doesn't offer it, I'll keep my time in it at minimum.
