Have to say I really don't like the look of default Scott Ryder. Need to get a look at Character Cre

Don't say things like that, pls. BioWARE after all did allow completely official companion customization in one of their games.

I imagine that the character creator will be a similar style to DAI, where we have multi-directional sliders instead of preset options for features. You'll be fine.

Funnily enough, I was feeling the same before the 13min trailer. I always played as default male Shepard first in each of the OT games and I want to romance Cora in MEA, but I thought Scott looked really boring and expressionless. I'll admit that his animations still look odd in the trailer but his face seems so much more expressive now. Made me feel better about using him.

EDIT: just realised that this was my 500th post.  God mode: on.

I'd think because this is a new game and story it'll put you in the CC before the opening cutscenes so your character will look right when he/she wakes up in that we made it scene. Especially as the games not running off previous saves like the trilogy is so I suspect that once you select new game it'll take you straight to CC to customize yourself and your sibling or at least give you the option to. Much like the DA games do and ME1 does. I know I plan on giving the CC a good look at once the game is out and will likely customize both to a point. With Scott for me it'll likely be just a few tweaks here and there as I'm playing as Sara first time out not him but I definitely plan on making more changes to my first Sara. Wha tchanges depends on the CC but we'll see.

I haven't really mentioned this on here but I actually don't care for the way he looks either. He honestly looks like somebody that deserves to be punched. It's not a big deal I'm sure I'll be able to create someone better looking with the character creator.

That would be so dumb.  You go to Character Creator watch 5 minutes of cut scenes and get thrown back into Character creator?  That would be just silly.

I must be the opposite because I like how the default male ryder looks and in first play through I will be using default male ryder but then after that I will try to create a new looking Ryder

That's my concern. I'm rubbish with cc and the default will look 100x better than what I produce.

Agreed I do think that yes there could be a spoiler relating to the story there which was why they didn't show it but my feeling is that they were just using the default for both but were told not to do the go over to sis to avoid too much spoiling in relation to the story more than anything it's quite possible that either Scott or one of the other characters says something there that might relate to something that happens later on. Besides we'll be able to find out for ourselves later once we get our hands on the game.

He looks great. But my custom one is gonna look so much better.
