What I wanna know is if Mass Effect: Ascension will play a role in this with the Quarians.

It a (very good) book that ultimately led the Migrant Fleet to send ships, including 2 humans, Hendel and Gillian Grayson into deep space to search for habitable new worlds for the Quarians.

Now I doubt ships from the migrant fleet are capable of inter-galactic travel into the Andromeda system, but I'm wondering if maybe some of them joined the Andromeda Initiative possibly? Would love to see shout-outs and cameos of one of my favorite Mass Effect books.

The video does indeed say "For our Turian and Quarian colonists" however I agree with you in a sense that whether we actually see them or not is up for debate.

I believe I read a dev mention that you have to be careful with your choices in game in relation to the Quarians? It was a tweet.

Sounds like a job for some ~~Prothean~~ Remnent tech. Since they are new to the lore, their capabilities are limitless. Also Bioware owes us a suitless Quarian after that Tali fiasco.

I do agree with you, mostly. One could say that it is confirmed that Quarians are part of the Initiative, because the wording in the video I think does actually confirm that. However, you are correct that having them be part of the Initiative is not the same as having them actually be in the game.
