How long will it take for you to complete MEA?

I'm actually somewhat surprised a majority of voters invest this much time into the experience. Considering most gamers never even finish the main quest line of an open world game, it's rather impressive so many are committed to investing over 100 hours into MEA. Hopefully, the time investment will be duly rewarded!

Not once, not twice, but three times! You'll be looking so much those nooks and crannies will get sick of it!!!

I'm willing to guess that the fans posting on the fan created BSN boards might be more hardcore about the game than the general gameplaying public.

I agree. People are really optimistic right now. They want ME so bad that if you gave them a 300 hour option they'd take it.

I don't have another 100+ hour experience like DAI in me. I'll probably clock mine in around 40-50hrs and spend the rest of my time on the game woopin' ass with pals in MP. I'm buying the game mainly for the MP and plan on using the SP as a reprieve when I feel like going Office Space on my rig.

Yep. We'll see how many actually clock in over 100 hours on their first playthrough. Folks can talk the talk but that doesn't mean they'll walk the walk.

SP is why I buy BioWare games, so that's where I'll spend most of my time. I'll jump into the MP eventually, but if it's essentially ME3 MP all over again, I won't play it for long. I found it repetitive and the cash shop was a turnoff.

I could see a lot of people bailing on some of the peripheral content if its really as big as it claims. I saw one article where the player thought she was like a minute of game travel away from something, drove a minute, checked the map again and saw she had barely even moved on the map. To some, that scale might be radical and awesome. To me, and I know others that have this opinion, they go "Oh fuck that" because of much its going to feel like time wasting as you travel.

One of the biggest gripes I had with DAI is how they bragged about 100+ hour game times. And that was true, but largely because I probably spent at least 70 running from A to B and having to deal with trash mobs annoying me.

I never truly 100% finished Inquisition. Which is the only time I've done that in a Bioware game, even when I hated it, like in ME1. (Sidequests were so arrrrrghhhhh!) There were a few areas that I just flat out never even entered.

It was just too big, and the side content was even worse than in previous games.

I know this game is going to be longer than ME1, 2, and 3 (probably put together), but I also hope that I'll actually be wanting to finish the whole thing this time around. 30 hours is really the ideal for games like this, but the huge world makes that impossible, so we'll just have to see if it's worth putting over 100 hours into.

Probably not entirely, but if I can do one 100% playthrough, I'll be happy.

Would there actually be any point in playing side content? Maybe to get the Green ending instead or Red/Blue??

No idea since I don't know how long the game is, I will put on here how long it took when done

For DAI one of my most recent playthroughs was around ninety five hours or so. That was exploring every area fully and doing all the DLC. I did skip a ton of dialogue though.

For MEA I think a first playthrough (no dialogue skipping!) will probably run me around a hundred hours.

Since I am fickle in game choices, the few games I have are played for years to come. So I tend to de everything. Bioware games give me more then 100+ so I expect MEA to do the same.
