Mike Gamble is BioWare's chief lying strategist... Source, please? What has been lied about?  Wasn't Mike the one who stated in that written interview right before ME2 released that ME3's ending wasn't going to be a "A,B, or C" choice? I guess it's that. |

Hope they fix those dead-pan eyes in the day one patch, because god, none of them actually looked at each other, just the general direction of where they're at. I doubt they will do any major fixes like that now... maybe post release at some point, but for now they are "gold". ...and BW still has no eye for details. No helmets for squad mates on a radiated world, huh? Also: Why can't we even equip new weapons we just found without a drop pod/camp thingie? I don't think it has a thing to do with no helmets on squadmates, rather helmets were toggled off for the squad and not by Ryder. |

The D1 patch is apparently 2 or so gb. Assuming they're playing the game on the version that went gold (and I really can't think why they wouldn't do that) that might be enough to fix the eyes?

I saw when we drive the Nomad inside the structure with the field before meeting PeeBe the condition changeda gaint to "Safe" so... Just trying to find the logic behind it too. |

Is it worth watching? I was working out and missed the whole Twitch thing today. I have read some of you saying it is spoilery, is it limited to the first hour or two of the main campaign? Have they gone into more advanced critical path missions? I'm undnecided on whether I'll watch it when Sofa Jockey edits and uploads the MEA part of the stream, or skip it. Any feedback will be welcome!
P.S: for the record, I didn't consider the first 13-minute video of the game as spoiling myself. I like watching the first portions of a game before deciding if I'm going to buy it, so the first mission would be cool with me.

I'd say no, it spoils a lot of stuff off hand, as in, it's not in your face, but if you listen well enough you will get spoiled, also they don't do much, they run around a small area, a thing that could be done in just under 10 minutes but waste 40 minutes doing it, another 10 minutes "Driving" the Nomad while going over the same slope for those 10 minutes, and then something a bit interesting but also a big spoiler. Also, Mike is a terrible player using the controller. |

Any feedback will be welcome! There is some big spoilers in the dialogue and some companion meeting spoilers... It's not the introduction , it's kind of the first open world planet so MEA Hinterland. This is probably going to be all over the place next week with EA Access , so it's up to you...but it is spoilery here and there. |

I just kept hoping he would find a different helmet. So ugly. Bleh, I forgot! PeeBee. So horrible. She is in for a minute an she already annoys me.  |

Man, this game is slowly shaping up to look nice. I'm still a little torn on the scanner but on the flipside I know I'll spend a lot of time just jumping on to things to pull it out and see what it can find.
Some really good things here:
- Cutscenes and quite frequently, as well as dialogue responses despite being on planets.
- PeeBee's intro is a mix of cringe and endearingness. I kinda like how they balanced her femininity with her quipness.
- Nomad and movement in general looks dope.
- I liked what Mac said about wanting Ryder to be a character that grows over the course of the story
- Daddy Ryder was refernced a couple of times and it seems his influence is spread across each planet somehow, making the "every planet has its own story" idea work in context of having a plot.
And finally, I gotta say, I'm kinda into the idea, as trite as it may be, that something has happened to each Golden World within the 600 years it took to travel there, that has created environmental hazards. Similarly I like how the game is about exploring Heleus but it turns out the Kett are not from there either. It may just turn out that the Angara are the real native species and Kett are outsiders.
