edit: okay you want to take this serious, talk about planet seeding..

why not salarians, who have been apart of the galactic community almost as long as asari?
or why not asari, who presumably reached spaceflight right after the reapers finished wiping out the protheans?
why are humans so special all the time?
or why not protheans who were so technologically advanced and had reason to run to another galaxy, during their centuries-long war with the reapers?

this would only tear me away from the game further... it is hard enough to believe that humans are as big in this universe as they are as it is, given they have been a spacefaring race for like... 50 years...?

at least if you worked with another species you could work this "ancient world seeder" trope into mass effect without it being "humans, you know, the special ones? yeah, turns out they are EVEN MOAR SPECIAL!"

edit2: also, my personal headcanon is that the MEU does have "ancient world seeders", they are the reason the salarians/asari/turians/batarians/protheans/etc are all humanoid.

edit3: good point brought up below, humans that have lived in another galaxy on other planets for as long as you are suggesting would appear not to be human, even if they were seeded and biological life was predisposed to "building humans" the environment would make them, At Least, look like klingons or something. infact, i think the volus would look exactly like seeded humans planted on a high pressure world.

There is plenty of evidence that humans evolved on this planet from apes.

I'd rather the devs didn't pretend that isn't the case.

This is sci-fi ya know. Planet seeding and etc is not an uncommon sci-fi theme.

If there were humans in andromeda before we came there, then I doubt very much that they would look the same as us. But I'd rather they don't have more humans. The story is human-centric enough as it is. I want to explore different cultures and species when I go to Andromeda not delve deeper into human history.

in Battlestar lore, the 13th colony was Earth and it was seeded (since it was a colony) so thats really all I was getting at. cheers
