Well it was confirmed we could not kill her or throw her off the ship. It was never confirmed she would not kill herself. Thanks for listening to feedback!
I don't recall hearing that she or anyone else cannot be thrown off the ship. I know there's a trophy that requires the player to recruit all squadmates. I would say she doesn't have to be recruited.

I doubt that inlcudes her... she doesn't quite look like an optional character, from all the material she was in. Maybe Jaal or the two aliens are optional? We also already know no squaddy can die...

Full Roster In single-player mode, recruit all six squadmates.
Until I play the game or Bioware says otherwise, I will assume she doesn't have to be recruited

I wonder if the face paint can hide the single tear going down Peebee's face as her lifeless eyes look up ever so softly as if she were a representation of Bioware looking at its corporate overlord EA. She can mod her guns as much as she likes. The real concerns are her ugly appearance, horrible facial animations, annoying personality and cringey dialogue.
Perhaps she is committing seppuku out of a sudden burst of self-awareness.
This is what happens when you divert resources from quality assurance to affirmative actions and social justice.
