New Bonuses for ME: Andromeda Deluxe Edition or above!

i already preordered, this is not fair

Well. the multiplayer packs that are bonuses aren't truly "exclusive" to Deluxe/Super Deluxe owners only. They have the same content as the packs that are available via in-game currency, with just higher RNG chances. To me, it's sort of like getting a couple of free special "Premium Spectre Packs" per week in ME3, which isn't that big of a deal. Still RNG as to what you'll receive, and ultra-rares are not guaranteed.

That's about as best of a balance you can get in terms of rewarding players who spend extra on game editions, but also not becoming pay-to-win.

Good thing I decided to get the deluxe edition  .

I'm confused. Is everyone who bought it up to this point getting these bonuses? Is everybody BEYOND this point getting these bonuses? Is everyone preordering these getting it before or after this announcement? Cuz numero tres seems like the most intuitive answer but people are acting like that's not the case.

I think everyone deluxe or above will get them in may regardless of when or even if they pre ordered. That's the way it reads to me.

It'll require a whopping total of 0 coding time. Adding in outfits and skins don't require any coding once the framework to support it's there. I know 'coding it in' is short hand for the masses with game development. It's extremely wrong short hand, and I'm being a nazi about it.

....aaaanyway, they may simply not have time to directly work on it and anything they add needs to be tested. It's all model and texture work, that takes time to get right. That said that's a good chunk of time for a small amount of things. I dunno, maybe it's a much smaller content team working on that stuff specifically, or they have to fit it in around more important stuff so they can't just go 'all in' at it.

Either way agree it's kinda bizar. But hey, more stuff is more stuff.
