I hope we do get an older Liara T'Soni and not just voice, but the character playing a role in andromeda. She cannot be physically present in Andromeda, since the Initiative leaves the Milky Way before ME3, during the events of which she is very much still in the Milky Way. Same goes for any other character who is in ME3. References to past characters in dialogue and maybe stuff like recordings are the most that we'll get.
Unless they do something stupid like going "actually, Tali was cloned at some point during the trilogy and Tali #2 joined the Andromeda Iniative!"

I've watched all the videos up to this point but I think I will stop here, don't want to see the entire first 3 hours of the game. neither do I really. I do want to seethe CC as I want a look at the hairstyles but the rest I'm happy to skip |

Never underestimate Bioware. Don't forget the Citadel DLC clone. The Citadel DLC clone had a story reason for existing though lol. True it did but that dosen't mean to say there won't be for other clones. But I'll leave that up to Bioware. |

Could show up in a future MEA game. Super long lived species, those krogan and asari. |

In the context of what Citadel DLC was (a lighthearted sendoff to the trilogy), Clone Shepard worked. There was something cool about seeing your created character, that you've played with over the course of three games, act as an antagonist.
Also he was a way more entertaining and effective villain than Kai Leng. Can we at least agree on that?

I completely agree that it was great to see my customised character as a villain, and I found that it was really well executed. Having my own clone as an antagonist gave me the impression of a superhero comic plot, which was a nice temporary departure from the grim-dark sci-fi war. It was cheesy, but in such a way that it worked. |
