Which character/difficulty will you pick for your very first game?

Adept to get a sense of the maps, ammo locations, these jump packs etc. Once we have that in hand we will head to gold, probably a lot of failures but we will figure it out:)

Yesss the Reegar for me as well as soon as possible please and then it really depends on the early acces day and what we choose to play as a team that day. If we choose gold and I feel comfortable enough with it afterwards, then I'll simply continue with that difficulty. Gold is my current difficulty, so I assume that' it will be somewhat the same. And then I'll probably choose a human vanguard or Asari adept, it's hard to say... hmmmm... I also love playing as an engineer!

Good plan! My excitement for the reegar is akin to a pregnant woman's excitement for the birth of her first baby. But I'm worried that gold might be too difficult at the very start, it might take someone like me a good few hours before I could even think about gold difficulty (yes I'm extremely bad at the game).

Another huge question for this game: ARE WE GETTING AN ACOLYTE??? Or something similar to the acolyte that trivialises enemies.

That krogan engineer looks a bit interesting, I can't wait to play with her!! Even though we've already played with an engineer with incinerate and overload but yeah...
Are we putting too much thought into all of this considering the game hasn't even come out yet?

I will go straight into platinum with an Adept and die on the first few seconds of Wave 1.


But really I'll probably start on silver.

Assuming Singularity is like the MPer version, then Human Adept. Singularity, Shockwave, and Pull. Probably bronze if we start at level 1 but only for 1 game.

I'm going to start on bronze with an engineer. Easy, helpful class so it's hard for me to screw up and die repeatedly.

Oh god I forgot about only having two at the start and that Avenger......in the later days of MP my best online bud and I did a gold Duo VS Collector any Human character, forget the map but think it may have been Ghost, it was probably the hardest game I have played, the poor old Avenger had a really hard time, hopefully biotics will get me through:) I will try gold in the 10 hour trial but not all that hopeful.
