The game does have SMGs, they're just all in the same category with pistols (Ian confirmed it). They probably ought to call the category "sidearms" just to avoid confusion. it's a MACHINE PISTOL Heh, I'm with you. Essentially, I don't think there's a single "smg" in the ME universe that is not a glorified machine pistol. Then again most ARs kinda look like carbines to me... so there's a lot of ambiguities. |

Still more maps than DAIMP, lol. I'm a little concerned that the camera is so hella close, seems like an outdated last gen game mechanic. When ME3 was finally available to play on the xbox one, I eagerly installed it and played two games with randies and quit, I couldn't stand the camera that close, it felt like I couldn't see shit. And I played the MP hardcore on my 360 back in the day, got a full manifest, best of the best several times over, and was still in the top 1% on the leaderboards after not playing for years at that point, lol. Leaderboards don't matter here. What's your BSN Street Cred? I didn't mention the leaderboard to look cool. It was just meant to emphasize that I played ME3MP ALOT, LOL. |

Feels empty without drells, batarians, volus, quarians or geth...I came here hyped, and will leave sad. Give it time. It has 25 characters, so around the same number as ME3MP had at launch. No Drell indeed ;( |

Sitting here are work, watching the MP trailer for like the 10th time, and I just realized my girlfriend will be out of town on launch day and the day after. Guess those $120 tickets for her to go see Stevie Nicks with her mother were worth more than I knew when I bought them originally.

i guess the main question is : Is AI still as dumb as in ME3 so that BW had to make them cheat and use level 500 equipment ?
If it s a bit better it ll be a massive improvment and as long as there will be balance change, we shall be fine

Question related to the MP video but not related to multiplayer.
So what is the deal with that turian? At first I though it was a she but then I noticed the character model,face and armor looks male ...but dont male turians have the head thingies?dont remember what they're called. I ve never seen a male turian with a plain head :s?
Edit:anyway it's definitely a female turian ,the face just looked different to any female turian seen so far.
Btw MP looks amazing!i m gonna have so much fun heheh

I'm really looking forward to trying out the revolver. I hope it's a quality weapon in MP. It would be a shame if they made it weak since it is such a unique type for this series.

Since enemies take more damage the closer they are to the mine, you don't want the sensor range to exceed the blast radius. I'd recommend 4b and 5b on this, I'm guessing 6 is either detonate primers or extra shield damage, so that one's up to you

You can spec Incinerate to be a Primer AND Detonator (as in ME3MP), or have it do two fireballs with a single cast like ME3 SP Double Throw.
Cryo Beam (the new Snap Freeze) has no effect on Shields
Energy Drain is a DETONATOR? How are we supposed to make Tech Bursts?
Standard Tac Cloak exists, but is probably singleplayer only.
We already knew that Invasion was the new Tech version of Warp+Dark Channel. Does Rank 6b also roll the ME3MP Sabotage into an Evolution?

Hold Button: Charges Overload, causing it to "chain" two additional targets.
So you can no longer get tech bursts!? Overload is ONLY a detonator now?
Incinerate
Fires a plasma projectile that does bonus damage to armor and inflicts ongoing burning damage to unshielded foes. Burning enemies are primed for combo detonations.
Incinerate is only a primer now? How lame is this? I was kind of annoyed that a lot of the biotics were like this, but to now do this to tech as well? Why? I have to admit this is making the game crappier in my eyes now.

I can't believe how much I crave the MP module. I guess, I am all SP'd out with a consecutive run of all DA games. It looks really good, and tbh, I am happy to start with 5 maps. I came to ME3MP late, so all maps were in, so for a while I was just not seeing any repeats at all. I started to think it was random gen maps. Fuck me - same here. I was able to not get hyped at all until I saw the first glimpses of MEAMP. |

Pull doesn't even count.
You have Singularity and Annihilation field (short range only) as the only primers in the game for biotics.
You have Incinerate and Cryo "Beam" (only primes if target has no shields) as the only primers in the game for tech. Assault turret does get the option for cryo ammo and flamer if they decided to let that prime.
Out of 25 characters? I don't know. I'm thinking wait till it hits the bargain bin. That feels pretty bare bones to me. It would get boring fast. Some of the people I play with but don't post here agree. A lot of it is probably because I am comparing it to ME3 as it is today, but still. I don't see that being all that amazing for long.
I want to be hyped. I want to love the game. Didn't even get all that mad about missing races, but damn.
