I used to play M+K back during the Quake 2-era, I moved to console afterwards as most of my friends played on Xbox. When I made the jump to PC, I played one bronze game with M+K and quickly realized that consoles had ruined my aptitude for it. I promptly downloaded the controller mod and have been singing mgamerz/femshep, etc. praises ever since. You may want to look into the mod. |

I was surprised how quickly I made the transition from Xbox to PC, and then how quickly I moved from Bronze more or less straight to Gold. I still fat finger buttons a little to frequently for my liking but that will never not happen I feel. |

Just a quick FYI for everyone, I put together a spreadsheet combining the new LFG lists from reddit's /r/MeCoOp subreddit and the main uBSN ME3/MEA LFG threads. It's sortable by platform, time zone, difficulty, etc. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/181BboNnR0KQ5iChZDyEYFeYxFtQqYfZM5CtX9du66Ys/edit?usp=sharingI also edited the OP in this thread to link it there too. I'll be updating it every weekend or so with info posted in the uBSN LFG threads, and maybe new info from reddit too, though I'm still fuzzy on how I'll get that to work. I had a 400+ hour manifest on X360. Playing Gold primarily or Platinum if the team are happy with my contribution to help speed up unlocks. Once I have more kits and guns unlocked I'll play anything. If Oceanic players are around, I'd be very interested to team up for the low latency |

WELL.
I started to play multiplayer yesterday. You read me right. Level 1 adept. Never much cared to touch this section, touched it a bit in Andromeda, didn't enjoy it, did not enjoy the game, got back to trilogy and decided "to give it a go" since the game pushes it to your face.
Ended up dying lonely in a second wave of Reapers. Sad.
Yes, this is embarrassing. I don't think there will be any n00bies around after all these years... I kinda hoped to see new players in MET after the Andromeda letdown. Guess I was the only person on the web thinking that way.
Laugh all you want : D

Obligatory make sure you have all 5 free DLC downloaded or else it will only try to match you with people who have the same DLC. Anything less than the 5 would probably not make you join or have anyone join your lobby. Could be the issue you had with no one joining, I don't venture outside of Gold/Plat I only have issues finding Plat matches, usually find gold matches in seconds. |
