There appears to be some mixed impressions of the multiplayer early on. I'd like to see how the community would rate it based on early access. I'd also like to see if the old hands at the game like what they see or not.
Options are limited to three - good, bad, neither for both people who played ME3 multiplayer in passing and those who stuck to it.
I'm firmly in the "Meh" category after the few hours I've put in. Keep in mind this is only rating the first ten hours and as such may not be indicative of an end impression of the MP.

As a long-time ME3MP player (600+ hours) not having space bar do everything was both amazing and terrible. The years of muscle memory I had to unlearn (especially for nova cancelling)...ugh. Anyhow I'm pretty positive after ten hours that this is going to be better then ME3MP. Sure, the power cooldowns are rather long, the animations are a bit wonky, but hell I've got a jetpack and can spam aerial dashes. Being rather obsessed with movement, I cannot overstate the absolute joy I felt in playing with the new movement system (at least on non-Krogan classes). It reminds me a bit of old free eastern arena shooters like GunZ and S4 League, as well as Unreal Tournament. Higher jumps feel a bit awkward, but keeping low to the ground is safer anyhow (and lets you spam more dashes). I'm not even sure what the point of sprinting is when aerial dashes are far quicker.

One of the factions is fuck awful boring to fight against and basically bring the pulse spam of the Collector Elite units with AoE stunnery.
Why anyone thought that was a good idea past alpha prototyping seems to indicate a serious lack of Coop MP experience or inability to understand what makes a compelling antagonist to fight against over and over, as feature magnification is very much a real thing in MP titles.
Melee, frankly is incredibly underwhelming and further hurt by the simplification it underwent, when everything else went the opposite direction in terms of use and implementation.
As a game designer, melee just yells at me to the point of distraction. In maps this small, melee should be of either vital utility (stun, knockback or spatial lockdown or the like) or do massive damage of a certain type, or in the case of a melee specialist, both.
Melee losing Heavy Melee for Jumpack/'Super State' Melee is a literal step backward, and it does not compel me to "learn" jetpack mechanics at all, and smacks of First Time Big Game game designitis; never assume your players are stupid or won't work out mechanics that are clearly and cleanly presented. Not everyone may get it right off, but you can't herd people either and shouldn't assume you need to.
While I'm firmly in the meh camp, I will stick with it for a little while and see if things look like they can be reasonably improved under the existing framework, I will certainly put time in the game as I did before, but seeing one third of the 'Golden Triangle' in this kind of state is not encouraging.

I've only pugged a couple of matches so far. It's got some good things but it does need work. I didn't realise till now what a runner and gunner I was with ME3MP - with the emphasis on run.

I feel like those dogs are going to be a real PITA. It's very hard to get your bearings when dogs pull you out of cover as much as these things did. It felt a bit ridiculous at points to have the big bosses of the wave coming at me and have to do an activation to get a dog off my arm while there were enemies swarming me and me not being able to stay in cover. I like the addition of them but I felt like now the game relies on them far too often. Cover should still be a solid option and when your rear is always exposed except in a few rare cases, ultimately I think people will find those places and end up hunkering down there as their best strategy or stick close to ammo crates. I noticed the later in a few of my matches.
Also, disconnects and lag are an issue.

I like the game but some pretty major issues make it pretty bad. Whenever I host I get insane FPS drops, playing off-host can be unplayable sometimes, and there are heaps of crashing issues. If these issues are sorted out the game will become MUCH better.

I like it a lot. Aside from technical problems, however, I can't help but feel like it lacks some of the polish, unique, and just plain fun aspects of MP3. I can't quite put my finger on what I think is missing, but combat sort of feels like it lacks "heft", if that makes any sense. Still, I do enjoy it and plan on playing a lot more.

inert , this poll needs an option "have not played yet", because we cannot see results till we vote! I didn't want "bandwagon" voting, so I kept it hidden. For those that haven't played, the results of the poll are mixed but the majority (64% at this time) believe it needs work.

I'd give it a 4.5/10. Needs some serious bug fixing and UI improvements.
Killing stuff is not anywhere near as satisfying as ME3.

If they can fix the rubber banding and sound bugs, it'll go a long way. Over all, I really enjoyed it. I only had common human characters till late in the trial so my expectations were lowered. I was really jealous to see people with Krogans and human kineticist. I got my krogan in hour 9. From what I've seen of the kineticist online, I cannot wait. Games take longer to finish, but the frenetic pace is really fun.
The game initially seems to favor guns. The faster pace makes setting up combos less satisfying, but it's only been 10hrs. Bio ware made a lot of changes to me3 mp, and I expect them to do the same for Andromeda.
It needs work, but it's pretty great right now due to being so fun.

It is amazing and it will get better all the time, just like ME3 MP did. It is hard, different and a lot of fun. I've spent my 10 hours in MP and can't wait to get back in.

you can remap that in the options menu I didn't try to since time was limited and all, but could you map jump and dash to the same key? Some are mutually exclusive; for example, you can't map Interact to the same key as Sprint. But you can map both Sprint and Mantle to Spacebar, which makes that identical to ME3MP, and then put Jump somewhere else.

I have Sprint/Mantle now bound to Mouse Button 4, and Melee to Mouse Button 5. Also you CAN rebind the Cobras, et al. Back to 5, 6, 7 and 8 instead of the lousy positions they are in now (I am a masher, I am not precise, I kept hitting Cobra instead of power 3). Five hours or so in, I am starting to get the hang of it, and have extracted the last three times. The last time with an Avenger on that Turian Soldier - two guys even wiped in 6, so it was just me and a much better player left to do the three upload locations. I'm enjoying it. A lot.

Getting disconnected at least 75% of the time in MP. When it's not me, it's someone else. Also for Some reason my weapons won't fire in MP for long period of time at certain times.

3000+ hours played ME3, so die hard fan.
Extremely disappointed, on the verge of canceling preorder of super deluxe edition (and most probably will still do this, since this nonsense does not deserves neither mine money, nor time).
The MP is broken beyond repair. And I am not complaining about the lag, which is really terrible, but may improve when the player base expands. Maybe I would be forced to host the game, which is fine, since I have 300 MBPS up and down, and can easily change the contract to 600 if needed.
The problem is with the overall attitude of the creators to design of the kits. Where are the bellowed powers, such as warp, stasis...? Asari adept can not make a power combo at any distance? What a joke! The powers are why we play Mass Effect. If I ever wish to play a 3d person shooter, I can play the Division, which has really nice mechanic and the Survival mode is really fun.
The worst thing is I can not see any valid reasoning why the developers had to do this, since the ME3MP was already close to perfect.

If they fix the numerous technical issues with audio and connectivity, I get some Turians unlocked on my account, and I make some progress in levels and weapons, then I feel like I'll better be able to judge it. In truth, I didn't like ME3 MP at release much, either -- it took some time to grow on me (and in fact I didn't start playing it regularly until spring 2013). So I am willing to see if the same happens here.

I love the game so far,and it's going to suck when my 10 hours are up. The maps are awesome, very colorful, and just a completely new feel with the removal of the omni button.I can get past the occasional lag and ctd(which hasn't been too bad for me).I think I've found my new favorite game

Despite having some serious problems(insane lag sometimes, shitty sound, objectives are sometimes hard to spot) ,game is effing fun and addicting when start unlocking kits and weapons. I am almost finished with 20 hours trial and can't wait for March 23rd.
Yes,you see it right,I bought Origin Access on two accounts, just to play it longer.
