It was really a decade of great and incredibly cheesy opening theme songs and intro videos for cartoons, or just TV shows in general really And sports in the 90's man - remember this: Followed by this classic game: Collecting Merlin stickers and swapping them with friends to complete our collections . Back then our minds where like mini-processors, I could go through 100+ stickers in 20 seconds and tell you all the cards that I had and which ones that I needed, great times. I remember watching my brother play Tomb Raider, we must of spent a couple of hours messing around just trying to lose the butler I think everyone has done that. I always shot him until he fell down. and speaking of Final Fantasy 8... This game........speechless. I think I tried to drown the dirty old man in the pool, but he wasn't having any of it. The thing is it's not just nostalgia, those games hold up to expectation even now. Sure the graphics are awful by today's standards but the story far surpasses most modern games and the gameplay is still very good imo. I downloaded Final Fantasy 7 on my PS4 a couple of months back and I can say without a doubt the game is just as good as I remembered. I'm hoping a port of 8 and 9 will come soon. The 90s gave us the greatest dance ever, surpassing even the skills of Shep in Mass Effect: Look at him! He dances like a Welshman, doesnt? he, doesnt he dance like a Welshman?

That one time when Marge was dating another man behind Homers back.
When Grandpa Simpson and the one armed store owner were raising an army of children big enough to conquer Springfield over a muffin.
Reruns of a movie called Milo and Otis. (RIP little buddies.)
And of course learning the lyrics to every song in disneys Aladdin for a school play.
I got to kiss a princess. (Thanks disney.)

This pic for the show itself, and the jeans, light and stonewashed jeans everywhere. - A/S/L? , IRC, Y2K panic - Macarena, The Rachel! Scrunchies, minibuns, chunky highlights, crimped hair (still), overly scrunched hair, skinny brow. Blazers - and everything with friggin shoulder pads, sweaters around the waist whether you needed it or not.

1995 Fond memories of this RTS. I learned about the sandbag cheat and used it mercilessly. 1995 Loved this click and point adventure in space! Directing the Enterprise crew to solve mysteries and complete the mission. 1999 One of the best space sims I've ever played. I had ST TNG screensavers galloping across the screen of my computer. Data dancing is a fav.

Oooh, the 90s! My teenage years! Wish I had access to my high school pics to show off some 90s fashion. But, alas, they're in storage. I had one of those memory books seniors get that ask you to list the price of a hamburger, gas and stuff like that. Gah! Would have been perfect. Google images will have to suffice! Umbro shorts. With crew socks and a t-shirt and/or sweatshirt. Yup: Flannel shirts. If you were preppy you tucked your grungy flannel shirt in: High waisted jeans, check. Big belt. Check. Tucked in shirt. Check. Chunky shoes. Check. This is 90s style: Short plaid skirt (loved these little skirts), black tights, chunky shoes and the crop top. Crop tops were EVERYWHERE in the 90s. The Rachel hair cut. I had the Rachel at one time. I think there was a point where 99.9% of women in the US had The Rachel. I don't know what this cut was called but many of the preppy boys had the long hair on top shaved in the back and sides look: Butterfly clips: And, a shout out to beepers and the all but instinct pay phones that facilitated beeper usage. You see, while out cruising the town with your friends, you'd stop at a pay phone to respond to any beeper alerts. Beepers made us feel important, like doctors. Teenage communication is important!

The 90s were when I first saw my first Bond film, Goldeneye. Which also had one of my earliest crushes, Famke Janssen. And let us not forget the Goldeneye game on the '64.

Which also had one of my earliest crushes, Famke Janssen. Do you remember Famke's role in Star Trek: TNG? That's the only place I've seen her but I really loved her in that episode. She played a forbidden love interest for Picard; the role could have easily made her an annoying Mary Sue but she pulled it off.
