I wish I could read just the DAI chapter of that book. I have little interest in reading about the development of other games, however, so buying the whole book would be a waste.

I do not support dishonorable men, and the man's behaviour points to a complete lack of honor, preferring poor manners over solid arguments.


That said, did they confirm the next "DA Project" is really a DA4? I'm quite out of the loop these days.

There's been no official announcement yet, but all the hints have been pointing towards a "DA4".

Trying to find (and properly credit) pics on a slide deck for a talk at @havencon, and as always, I am amazed by the work fan artists do. OrbitalWings and @blkdistraction have both done some amazing Celene/Briala work.

Okay, also, just in case I'm being a doofus and not realizing it: if an image is publicly available on DeviantArt, using it with credit in a I'm-not-getting-paid presentation is generally cool, yes?

(Realizing belatedly that I use fan art all the time on private internal work stuff to show off the awesome work fans do, but I don't want to be That Guy on a public panel.)

Well, there is something to be said for writing complicated and/or toxic relationships as part of the story. Or it could be a known f/f relationship that he wanted to highlight. I'd prefer if the example were a positive one, but *shrug*.

I don't object to the existence of their relationship as such. What I find shitty is that the player can get them back together.

I think the toxic love birds wanted an excuse to get together. Celene couldn't honestly have believed that Briala was actually trying to help her just because my Inky said so and since Briala was the one who broke it off in the first place, it's not like Celene even needed much of a push.

Briala of course knows that the Inky is lying on her behalf and she is quite educated on the cost of the relationship. She's decided that the benefits outweigh the drawbacks of her heavy conscious. I think they're both continuing to play the Game with each other for however so long they both feel they're benefiting from it. I feel no guilt letting them be toxic to each other, I don't judge. Lotta crap much worse going down in Thedas.

I hate all those awful people. None of them get what they want, and the Inquisition is in charge.
