Heh half the comments on Kotaku were taking his remarks about EA with a grain of salt because he "doesn't want to burn bridges in the industry." While that may indeed be true, it also illustrates that there's little point in attempting to address concerns or voice your opinion, as anything you say will be second-guessed and dissected.

It also didn't help that the Kotaku people were bending over backwards to try to get him to admit EA is evil, which he just wouldn't do.

He sure was trying hard. But still Jason made ok impression on me this time. He just needs  to apply Ockhams razor once in a while ;-). Good of Kotaku to try to spread the correct view on the whole Frostbite thing as well. Not that it will stick on the "angry fans".

Back in Nov. 2017 I went to the IGDA CH to watch an Interview with Mike Laidlaw and some other game developers.

I had hoped the IGDA would upload their video in the meantime, but they haven't yet, so I decided to upload the video I took with my phone. As I didn't know if I could film everything, I only filmed Mike's part.

That unholy thing that is the Highlander sequel...

I liked Endgame well enough. Plus it had a fantastic soundtrack.

Is this the sequel where this old mortal guy is hanging out with a young reporter, only for there so somehow be released/born some other Immortal, so he goes back to being a young immortal, and he bangs the reporter on the spot (against a random wall in public) even though that doesn't make a lick of sense in any fashion?

HA. I unforunately can't link to the scene because in spite of the fact that it shows nothing but a little leg, the only video I could find was on a porn site. BUT YES. They're walking along as Old Man Macloud and Hot Reporter when he gets attacked by his fellow aliens. The Quickening occurs, he becomes young again. The reporter is shocked, walks up to him, he introduces himself, and they screw against a nearby stone wall on the spot.

I'm glad that movie isn't canon,

I've only ever seen the television show. This conversation is making me more and more grateful for that. Except for the "immortals are aliens" thing, which actually sounds like it could have had some promise if handled right (ZEIST does not sound "right"), I am fine with the show being the only Highlander thing in my head. lol
