What did Blair Brown do? (I don't remember most of the dev names beyond the biggies, or if they tend to post on forums so I see them around.)


RE: Greg Ellis. I highly highly doubt they are near the point of any VA work on DA4. Aside from that, he has done other voices for the series, so not necessarily Cullen. I'd say that his Anders sounds pretty different from Cullen, while still being recognizably him. He's a VA that Bioware is familiar with and (presumably) they have good experience working with each other, so I'd imagine they try to reuse as many of their VAs as possible, if the circumstances allow for that (that is, a particular VA not being too iconic a sound for the series, like Kate Mulgrew and Flemeth).

Also, I'd certainly say that B-b-b-blizzard makes a VERY iconic and industry shaping series: World of Warcraft. They're working on an expansion (and always working on other patch content). There are a couple of new elf races in the next exp, and I can see him doing one of those. He was also in Diablo III.

As much as I like Fenris and Gideon Emery, I'm hoping they keep fanservice cameos to a minimum. Fenris can be dead, so that's all it would be for him. I wouln't mind him making use of his American accent to voice some more dwarves though, maybe the American accent PC voice option!

Blair Brown was an associate producer mainly on multiplayer modes. He got a nickname 'Blar' (not sure why).

Lol! I remember that was his nickname when he screwed up something on the MP side - Blar!! You Blar'd it up!!

Billy Buskell was also a producer on the MP side, and I always remembered - Billy can't math. That was pretty firmly established back in the early DAMP days.

From your phrasing here, I'm not sure if you know this, but the reason I made the suggestion is because he had a couple of dwarf voices in DAO. One voice that's easy to find is Harrowmont's crier (I'm pretty sure it's this one).

I think these actors sound way too distinct to be the PC, tbh. Jon Curry managed because he dropped the Antivan accent and lowered the pitch of his voice, but Gideon Emery's very recognizable as both Fenris and Samson.

That aside, a Fenris cameo makes more sense than most. Hunting slavers or being a slave himself. I just hope they don't give him that goofy belly-baring armor.

He could be working on SWTOR (i'm guessing Star Wars might be considered iconic), as he has definetly voiced for them in the past (I'm pretty sure I ended up torturing/electrifying him at some point, it was a bizarre experience ) and they are working on an expansion and his voice would work for a character from the Empire. Not saying it's likely, but it is a possibiltiy.

Blizzard should be about to release a new character for Overwatch soon, it might be that?
