It is established that individual eluvians can be pried open with enough knowledge or power - which is how Morrigan used hers and Qunari used theirs regardless who had the main password/control at the time. Isn't this a plot point in one of the novels. Solas touches on it in his Trespasser convo. Well, we do know from DAI that even with Briala obtaining the main switch and setting passphrase in TME neither Morrigan nor Flemeth/OGB Kieran were barred from using eluvians. Solas then states in Trespasser that he had to override the passphrase personally. Not sure how or what it required, but regardless who had control over the network, individual eluvians were still being opened by both Morrigan and Qunari.

Yeah, currently my brain can only think of Bioware - Dragon Age or Star Wars: The Old Republic Blizzard - World of Warcraft. I know he's voiced for both Dragon Age and SWTOR before, has he worked with Blizzard much before?

If they are used, I hope it's at least established that we wrested control of the network away from Solas, or are using a side door, or something. It's just too convenient not to be be a hard-won prize. Say part of a significant mission halfway through the game allows us to use it, opening up paths to all of the previously visited maps. That's certainly nice for player convenience in the back half of the game, while also opening up some interesting story possibilities. *Wade voice* Think of the possibilities! It is established that individual eluvians can be pried open with enough knowledge or power - which is how Morrigan used hers and Qunari used theirs regardless who had the main password/control at the time. Plus, Dorian has a banter in Trespasser which I don't think is just random musing - one about building his own eluvians now that Trespasser gave them an opportunity to study them (+ they more than likely got their hands on all the Qunari research). So it may be that we'd have our own eluvians established... orrrr Dorian finishes a few right around the DA4 timeline and we are volunteering (?) to test them. I mentioned the "network" not individual eluvians. It seems likely that Solas or his agents would be able to tell that we were using it.

Like could there be different ones? Specially as there was a rebellion going on in the ancient Elhven empire, I could see there being different networks apart from each other, in order to protect you from the enemy side. Which means that if Dorian does make his own set of Eluvians, it could be his own separate network that Solas wouldn't be able to control....

I mentioned the "network" not individual eluvians. It seems likely that Solas or his agents would be able to tell that we were using it. I'm not so sure he or they can. At least not to an extent that he can monitor all the network. Don't forget that he told us how he learned of Qunari plan - it wasn't them sneaking through eluvians, but Qunari spies in Inquisition tripping over his spies. I wonder if they actually all are the same network? Like could there be different ones? Specially as there was a rebellion going on in the ancient Elhven empire, I could see there being different networks apart from each other, in order to protect you from the enemy side. Which means that if Dorian does make his own set of Eluvians, it could be his own separate network that Solas wouldn't be able to control.... Let's not forget about the potential damage to the network due to war, rebellion or Veil dropping, extensive changes to the world itself over millennia or the fact that while Solas may be really powerful, it may not be at the level of power he had before... nevermind other potential factors like tainted or possessed(?) eluvians. And while I have an idea how he's managed to override the network, there's no way of telling if anything/anyone else can do that at any time if they know what to do.

Even though I would greatly prefer that my Inquisitor stay off stage in DA4, there is a way to divert Solas’s spies so that your Inky can be hands-on in the fight against, well, everyone. Have the Inner Circle fake Inky’s death. The one possible flaw in that plan is Solas’s spirit agents in the Fade. They might be able to always ferret out the truth. They can’t be everywhere and know everything you say? True, but having them track all of the Inner Circle 24x7 seems like the right intelligence move. From Inkys point of view, not to mention strongly implied by Trespasser, the Inky and the Inner Circle could better serve as distractions for Solas’s network, not to mention a source of red herring noise. Besides, the Inky insisting on getting hands on is pretty arrogant — DAI picking elfroot notwithstanding. Solas doesn't need to rely on any agents in the Fade. He can find us himself since Dreamer mages like Solas are able to seek people out and kill them in their sleep. For all the Solasmancers who chose to redeem Solas, feigning death might be a tricky plot since he comes to visit those Lavellans in their dreams. And really, since Solas has taken us all on trips into the Fade it could be a tricky plot for ANY Inquisitor. (I'm not sure that dwarf Inquisitors are immune, since they've visited the Fade in DAI.) So although he doesn't want to kill us (for now), he could easily seek us out and keep tabs on us via our dreams. A way around it would be for there to be an amulet or something that the Inquisitor could wear that would block any Dreamer's attempt to find them from the Fade.

(I'm not sure that dwarf Inquisitors are immune, since they've visited the Fade in DAI.) Dwarves visit the Fade in all three games if the writers want them to. Heck, in DAA if you take Oghren into the Fade for the first time (that is, he didn't visit in DAO), he kinda freaks out: The is the Fade?! Dwarves don't belong here! We don't dream, we sleep like the Stone.

Dwarves aren’t SUPPOSED to go to the Fade - they don’t dream - but they can be forcibly taken there by a powerful demon or spell.
Besides Oghren, the Warden and the Inquisitor going there, Varric was sent to the Fade when he shot the Magrallen in the comics and Utha was brought to the Fade in The Calling.
In any case, if we’re in opposition to Solas, we’re going to need some way of justifying why he doesn’t just kill us with a glance. This will either require a very powerful protective magic or a complete lack of awareness of our opposition. (I have wondered if the next hero will be a mole in Solas’ organization.)

His NDA doesn't allow him to say specifically, but his hints potentially line up to something Dragon Age-y. But tbf, it could be for another game entirely (eg. WoW).
It doesn't seem likely it's DA4 though, given where they are in production. But it might be something DA-related.

The way he's teasing this clearly points at DA, and it's still possible it's DA4 Bioware Dragon Age Bioware Cullen. But I'm still hoping it's DA4. Why? I'm working in a game company, our project is faaaaaar from finished (several years), but we're already recording VOs and mocaps. With our previous title, VOs were the last thing we were implementing, but now it's different. it seems it depends on how the team is familiar with certain tools, or if production is going smoothly, or whatever, (I'm not a tech person). Or perhaps he's recording some placeholder dialogues, that's basically was the first thing we did- hire good VOs we know to record something that later will be replaced by final actors. For Vertical Slice, for example.

Imagine all the 'uggggh, my heart' when we start befriending our companions while being aware that at some point we're going to have to betray them, thus getting ourselves in shoes of people like Solas (or Bull). Yessssssssssssss. Gimme dat Biower.

Whether you disbanded it or not, Inquisition is still operating and is still recognized, as demonstrated in Knight Errant. And I didn't say that we'd be working for Solas - just that we'd get to feel how it is, even partially, to be in shoes of a character in such position. We might as well be working for someone else. I myself am quietly rooting for.... Executorssss

I don't like this hangman game he's playing.
And if he really is working on something DA related, I'd really rather hear it from the devs and not in this fashion.

When discussing it in various posts, I've taken to calling it the Shadow Inquisition. It exists regardless of your Trespasser choice. You have either formally disbanded, or the Inquisition is now an arm of the Chantry. Either way, whatever operation you're running, its not official.

Maybe it’s a mobile game like twenty bur dragon age themed and he’s doing a commercial for it
Eluvians-in one of the books the heroes get a demon to open the network. The non elves were slowed, their were guardians etc. wonder if that’s a possible future for this. Also in the dao elf origin didn’t it cause your friend to become a ghoul?
