So, perhaps the printing of the book is late, and the shipment needs to be delayed until mid-August?
The economy is extremely busy. Perhaps the publisher's subcontractor is late on printing the hardcover book?
Perversely, I feel guilty that I am glad to see that the book is delayed. "Gol-dang-it ... If I can't have my book by the end of September, then "nobody" should get the frickin' book."

Mine is scheduled between 8/6 and 8/10. However, I had another item pre-ordered with it that was pushing the date out to October. The date changed back to August when I cancelled the other item. Perhaps a similar reason for some of the other delays?

I also ordered the DA Omnibus, Magekiller TBP and Knight Errant TBP, the only reason those didn't get shipped yet, is because I clicked on "As few packages as possible" and because Hard in Hightown comes out tomorrow, that delayed everything.
