I find it a bit odd that an article defining and explaining the job of a Coryphaeus would include a random video game character. I guess there were enough suggestions put in the digital suggestion box?

Not sure why that's strange? Many articles on Wikipedia point to where a given word/concept/whatever has been used in art and fiction.
“The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself.”
Patrick Weekes @patrickweekes I've been part of 4 AAA titles (Mass Effect 1-3, Dragon Age: Inquisition), but I still get this little dopamine rush successfully making a passage include other passages in Twine or making level transitions work in RPG Maker. The little thrill of figuring stuff out.
(Anyone looking for game-writing advice: tinker. Futz with logic in free or cheap game-making software. Knowing how to hack if-then stuff, even if it's "I can't do it, but if you do one, I can do the rest by copying your logic," can make you really valuable late in development.)
I seriously had a dream where Patrick Weekes called everyone in to discuss two different games with dual protagonists and how to incorporate the best of each games version of doing so into DA4.
I came here to see anything about it,but it was all in my poor wee subconscious head.

Over my years here I have amassed proficiency in a large number of skillsets within Frostbite using that very ideology and it is largely why I was originally brought on to the "skeleton crew"... doing whatever it is we have been doing .

Dark Horse Comics @darkhorsecomics On this #NationalVideoGameDay, we celebrate the release of Dragon Age: The Stolen Throne Deluxe Edition! A #DragonAge prose novel by DA: Origins Lead Writer @davidgaider with 24 new illustrations by Stefano Martino, Alvaro Sarraseca, more! Details: bit.ly/dastdxe #NCBD
T @sse_JC Is the Chant of Light from Dragon Age based on Gregorian chant?? @patrickweekes @davidgaider
Mike Laidlaw In that "it's religious people chanting," yes, but the purposes of the two chants are very different. The Chantry is not a direct analog to Christianity insofar as the Chantry is a desperate attempt to appeal to an uncaring god, while Christianity is a celebration of forgiveness.
Karin Weekes @karinweekes Mostly, @davidgaider wanted to write a song. 😜 #ikid
David Gaider @davidgaider Something I’ll never get: DA fans who still bring up “egg” every time Solas is mentioned, or vice-versa. Because Solas is bald, you see. This is, evidently, the height of hilarity.

While I never found that meme amusing Gaider just sounds like a bitter old man here. I mean why complain about something as meaningless as that? Guess he must be bored out of his mind.

Well he did mention being extra cranky having both just quit smoking and starting a new diet a few days ago. It also snowed last night in Edmonton, so I'm inclined to cut him a little slack...
Patrick Weekes @patrickweekes Sometimes content voice actors have to perform means spending far too long staring at the screen trying to figure out how to write the subtitle for "Sound of someone trying to say 'I dunno' without opening their mouth."
Also, fun fact, I apparently cannot make the "mouth-closed-I-dunno" noise without shrugging my left shoulder.
Anne Stickney @shadesogrey ...I just spent two minutes trying to puzzle that out to no avail and I think that problem is going to be stuck in my head for eternity unless you decide to tell us what you landed on
Patrick Weekes @patrickweekes Right now? "(Grunts noncommittally.)" It's... not ideal.
Anne Stickney @shadesogrey That...doesn't quite capture what I have going in my head (and I can't make that noise without shrugging either, that's just WEIRD)
Patrick Weekes @patrickweekes Fair! The VO note for the actor does specifically say "Like you're trying to say "I dunno" without opening your mouth," so I'm not super worried about getting a good reading.
