Nice Gilli - the second image had me taken aback a bit, though - Is Meresino really a 'ship' the internet did/is doing? I mean; of course it is. It's the internet. But, I mean - in great numbers? Who knows? I mean, there are A LOT of people who looove hate-ships. Not my taste tbh

I've never seen it be that popular, and I swear half the popularity it does have is because Sarcastic Hawke makes a joke about it I believe.

I can see where people are coming from with it. The two would have known each other for an extended period of time, way before the events of DA2. Orsino is interesting, and Meredith wasn't always nuts. And I believe its canon that she had a sister who was a mage that her family chose to hide? She's basically what Carver could have become if everything had gone wrong. (Or I guess could still be since you can basically be forced to fight him as a Templar, I think?) I could see some interesting character pieces about Orsino and Meredith and their potential dynamic before red lyrium.

Why does Dragon Age feel like a distant memory now.
Maybe it's time to replay the trilogy lol

That’s what I’m doing right now! Just finished up Witch Hunt, now it’s off to Kirkwall. Edit: Huh, I’ve just remembered that Golems of Angorrak is a thing. Never played that bit of DLC before. Is it worth the purchase?

...it also gives the hands down most expensive weapon with which you can buy out anyone at Ostagar if you manage it on Nightmare.
Don't bother with it on Nightmare.

The best way to beat the Golems of Amgarrak boss fight on Nightmare is to play as an archer, or a Blood Mage/Spirit Healer mage. It's mostly melee characters that have a really bad time with it, since it likes to disengage and leap off to the other side of the room. Unfortunately the companions for that DLC don't include a mage, so that can make it tough if you aren't playing one yourself.

I took this screenshot just before getting the Grim Reaper award last summer. I think I did it once again with mage with Spirit Healer & Blood Mage combo. DW rogue was very hard going! Never doing that DLC ever ever everever again, lol.

Never doing that DLC ever ever everever again, lol. I only managed to do it with an Archer character and cheese it. Hid next to the bridge where no one could reach me and kept shooting from there. This was my last missing achievement

They really love retweeting the most obvious brownface... Are you talking about the Josephine cosplayer? That lady’s from Barcelona. She’s closer to being actually Antivan than most of us. Actually, I think they’re all Spanish.

They really love retweeting the most obvious brownface... She could be the palest Nord to ever Nord. If she wants to dress up as Josephine, including paint on skin tone for accuracy, let her. Josie has fans of all colors. Don't be an ass.

Actually, I think they’re all Spanish. Josephine has been confirmed non white so no, she's not spanish. And I don't see what her being from Spain has to do with anything when her natural skin color is pale, and she clearly painted herself brown for the cosplay.

I didn’t know Josephine needed to be “confirmed” as non-white, except to colourblind people. Anyway, Antiva is just a mishmash of Spain and Italy, though more leaning towards Spain. And Spanish people are a mix of skin colours. Take your nonsense elsewhere.

Criticizing racism that bioware is sharing is not ""race-baiting"".

But they do generally speak with Spanish accents. Josephine is an obvious exception, as Allegra used her Italian accent. Spaniards and Italians are white. Quick, someone let Mario Balotelli know he’s actually white.

Secondly, who actually cares? The makeup makes the cosplay more accurate. Its not an insult, its not brownface. It is brown foundation ON her face. Its not racist.
(And for the record, elves don't represent black people and Bioware doesn't hate them either. We all know its you, N7Phantom. And no, you still can't romance Vivienne.)

Quick, someone let Mario Balotelli know he’s actually white. Oh, I'm not saying that there isn't both. I'm just saying that when asked about what was the inspiration for each nation in Thedas, David Gaider said Antiva was Venician Italy. You can see that not just in the culture but even the names of the cities. My guess is they put the Spanish stuff with it to make it not quite on the nose so instead Antiva is "like the Mediterranean nations". Yeah, there are plenty of Spanish and Italian people who aren't white. It's almost like their history and geography allowed a lot of other races to interact with them or something.
