A few people on the Dragon Age SubReddit (should that be capitalized?) celebrated by posting fanart of their characters. Obviously this DA fan Andrastini has her own idea on what date Dragon Age Day should be, however. And she went to a fair bit of effort, modding Dragon Age 2 so she could play through it as Alistair and then record the footage. |

On the bright side based on stuff they have said and given Fallout 4 when we do get an announcement it'll hopefully release six months later. So if we do get an announcement at E3 next year it could come out as early as December of that next year. (Probably be dealyed to like February or something though).

With Anthem hitting Alpha, I think part of the team is moving to the development of DA4. We will probably see an announcement before the next E3. The biggest concern is that whether they are planning to release the game in this or the next generation. The cross-gen-issue on DAI must be avoided.

I'm holding out for some E3 news, but part of me think it's still just a mite too close to Anthem's release. Nonetheless, I'll be shocked if they don't do something next year for DA's 10 year anniversary. It's the perfect excuse to get people thinking about the series again.
Cyberpunk does make me wary, though. I agree that the average consumer won't see much competition between the two, but CDPR's fans seem to have written up some rivalry between them and Bioware. I think the games will be compared regardless by them - are being compared now, even, despite Cyberpunk being vastly different and DA4 not even having so much as a proper title. The fact that Cyberpunk is *already* being hyped does not bode... fantastically well.
I dunno, I'm just moping. For all my pessimism, I do sincerely enjoy Bioware. I hope the best for DA4 and Anthem. I hope they can get back in the limelight.

It was actually a collection of 7 high profile DA fans on Twitter who worked together to organize this. They gave a lot of thought to the name and it's really not meant to be a push for DA4. They did consider September 30 but ultimately decided it didn't make a lot of sense for people who might be new to the series/haven't played Origins. They thought Dragon 4ge (l33t) would be more recognizable for newer fans. They have their website up and running so you can check out who the Dragon 4ge "Group of Seven" are and activities they've planned for the day here. |

I dunno, I'd prefer DAO to keep certain parts of it's art style.
For example, Chantry sister robes.
In DAO, they were sort of... lilac, is it? Then in DAI they became red and white. I don't really remember what they were in DA2.
So, using that as an example, I'd prefer for Fereldans to use a different robe from the Orlesians, since their two countries are so different.
