I had a dream where I visited a Bioware Office Location and got invited in to talk to John Epler (but not that one, a different one). He couldn't disclose what he was working on for Bioware, but he was doing some grunt work for the "Dilbert" comic Strip. I laughed and accused him of doing other company's work as a -break- from the grueling work he was doing on Dragon Age 4.

I can tell that's just polite generalspeak and potentially not even written by a human (or at the very least written by a human who REALLY doesn't give a fuck about this and needed to tell you to fuck off in a polite fashion) because this is literally what EVERY "we're sorry but no" email looks like. Down to the last damn word. Same shit, different company.

Tell me about it, I was made redundant a few years ago (working now though) & I applied for dozens of jobs & only a handful got back to me, expected not to get it yeah it is a generic reply, but still, better than many places.
The last time I took a personality test I failed it.

You said that same thing when it was posted here the first time, though. I don't think its any more odd now than it was then.
He's likely just speaking like that cus he's speaking to the DAI team, not all of whom are going to be with the company to make further DA games. Its been 4 years. People move on to different projects or entirely different companies in that amount of time. Heck, Life could happen and Patrick himself could conceivably move on for some reason. He just seems like he's like "Whether we're all together or not from now on, just know I loved and appreciated the work you did on DAI. Again. (Cus he's expressed the sentiment a million times before this but its the anniversary so he's doing it again.)"
I see nothing inherently nefarious or worrying about that tweet in and of itself. And we've no context from Patrick to suggest its hinting at anything bigger. IMO.

Yup. I thought there was another, but one odd tweet is hardly the reason to be pessimistic.
After time adrift among open stars, past tides of light, and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began.
If you think about it, when Patrick joined the team both David Gaider and Mike Laidlaw were part of it and had been with Bioware so many years, I don't suppose anyone thought they wouldn't be around for the 4th anniversary of DAI and yet that is what happened. So I can understand why PW said what he did, even if does sound a bit strange in isolation.
I like how whether it's Dragon Age or Mass Effect or now Anthem how one word can cause entire articles to be written. A Dev could tweet he has the poops after a spicy dinner and some random game website would have an article titled, "Dragon Age 4 dev says game has been canned."
I'd say in the can, but that would be a good thing.
Let's not forget how these articles are written, either:
