Karin Weekes @karinweekes Not cool, Dude. Not. Cool.
John Epler @eplerjc Having been in this industry for a while, one thing has proven out, time and time again. Success belongs to the team, and failure belongs to leadership. No game is a one-person show, or even close.
The people you know and follow on Twitter are a tiny fraction of the massive number of the talented people who make a game a success.

Jon Renish @jonrenish We take periodic breaks at @bioware to let team members try out new skills and chase their own passions. The day before I went on paternity leave, I made this Dragon Age inspired letter book.
BioWare @bioware As Harvestmere (or Frumentum, if you're among those who use the high term) settles upon Thedas, a crisp wind turns our thoughts to harvests, apples, and chilly hands wrapped around warm mugs. #FirstDayofAutumn

October Burns @october_burns I’m roaming around the Hinterlands in my latest playthrough of Dragon Age: Inquisition and once again experiencing the deep desire to shake the hand of the nerd who wrote the Tyrdda Bright-Axe codexes.
WHAT a fantastic poem sequence. Scans well to the modern ear, but also wonderfully evokes archaic English saga poetry in tone. Expertly crafted line length variation—the choice to forego catalexis in the last line of each verse is perfect. And that alliterative rhyme? Glorious.
I’ve heard a rumour that that was @patrickweekes... SIR! Are you responsible for this?! I must know. It’s my favourite piece of writing in a masterfully written game.
Patrick Weekes @patrickweekes Thank you so much! Sometimes you get an order to write codex entries for an area and decide you need to throw them together into a gay barbarian mage-princess saga.
“The cosmos is within us. We are made of star-stuff. We are a way for the universe to know itself.”
John Epler @eplerjc Dear spell check, in this world, Badassfully is absolutely a real word.
Patrick Weekes @patrickweekes Damn right it is.
Mark Darrah @biomarkdarrah He said, badassfully.
Patrick Weekes @patrickweekes Listen, I didn’t write an entire Blasto movie where Bubin the elcor uses “badassfully” as his vocal cue for every damn line just for people to doubt its viability now.
John Epler @eplerjc RIGHT. I felt certain that 'badassfully' had come from you, somewhere, and now I know where.
In this news it is shown that Bioware Edmonton has 300 employees (not a huge number for developing a 3A game today, I guess). It is exciting that "Hudson said the new space was designed with growth in mind and the goal of the company is to continue to expand in a sustainable way."
Emily (aka Domino) Taylor pentapod New #BioWare building #SoFancy 🧐💃🕺😄 It's so nice being downtown now too and walking distance from so many amazing restaurants and shops! Still discovering our faves (but @sweetlollachoc is definitely up there, YUM 😋) #yegdt
Edm Mayor Office @yegmayoroffice This will be a place where #Edmonton's story is told in a new way out into the future, thanks to many ppl in this room. — Mayor @doniveson at @bioware's housewarming event. BioWare is a #YEG success story & a wonderful example of our growing innovation economy. #yegdt
Edmonton Journal @edmontonjournal Video game developer @bioware has upgraded to a massive new office space in downtown #YEG The 75,000-sq-ft space takes up three floors of Epcor Tower and houses hundreds of desks, audio recording rooms, gaming stations, and a motion capture studio. edmontonjournal.com/business/commercial-real-estate/bioware-moves-to-new-downtown-location
Emily (aka Domino) Taylor pentapod #TFW your handwriting is so bad you waste several minutes wondering why you left yourself a note reading "spawn potatoes" 🥔😛 (Before eventually remembering it was a note from a meeting to remember to explain some issues with spawn portals to a programmer.)
Here's how Dark Horse Comics describes the new three-issue comic:
"Dragon Age: Blue Wraith starts off with the fanatical Qunari seeking to topple the Tevinter mageocracy. Caught in the middle, one powerful young mage’s desperate search for her father brings her face-to-face with a notorious mage hunter—Fenris, the Blue Wraith."
The exact creative team for Dragon Age: Blue Wraith includes writers Nunzio DeFilippis (Dragon Age: Knight Errant, New X-Men) and Christina Weir (Dragon Age: Deception, New X-Men), artist Fernando Heinz Furukawa (Dragon Age: Knight Errant, God Is Dead), and colorist Michael Atiyeh (The Orville: New Beginnings, Halo: Escalation), with covers done by Sachin Teng. In general, these names should be familiar to anyone that's been following along with the most recent set Dragon Age comics.
Dragon Age: Blue Wraith #1 is set to release on January 15, 2020 with the following two issues releasing after that.
Gamedam Meister @gamedammeister @ndefilippis Christina Weir Out of curiosity, is the powerful young female mage that is mentioned Francesca from Deception? Reading the description made me immediately think of her. Either way, I’m really looking forward to reading another great Dragon Age comic series from you both.
Christina Weir Christina Weir It is Francesca! She's got a lot to figure out in this new mini.

Nunzio DeFilippis @ndefilippis Fenris frees slaves. In doing so, he has killed a fair amount of mages, and the "Blue Wraith" is feared throughout the Imperium as a Mage-Killer as a result.
Taylor ⚡ 🐍 @cyberpunknoire Hi. I really hope his queerness is acknowledged in some way and that this isn't some weird hetero retcon or I'll be super disappointed
Christina Weir Christina Weir This isn't a romance story for Fenris, so it doesn't impact much but since he was a romance option for both male and female Hawke, we write him as bi.
